-To increase the offering of free dynamic and attractive workshops throughout Miami-Dade County toexpose the importance of music education by a 40%.-To directly involve family members in our programs by a 50% more than the current 35% consequentlythey will be part of the efforts and the learning process of their children.-To increase outreach and collaboration concerts with various organizations throughout Dade County forlocal families at community venues by 40%.-To demonstrate academic and social improvement of participants by 100%-Increase opportunities for underserved youth by expanding the number of youth in our programs by 50%.-Increase the number of teenagers advanced musicians who volunteer as assistants in our beginningclasses by 30%The activities of Musicall 2019-20 season are as follows:-Music and Movement, a class designed for toddlers and their parents to take together; Four Hands, apiano beginning class for preschoolers where parent and child both learn together (August-May) will beoffered at two locations.-Preparatory String Classes- (August-May) beginning string (violin, viola, cello, and bass) instruction at sixlocations in Miami-Dade County-Preparatory Guitar Classes- (August-May) beginning Guitar instruction at two locations in Miami-DadeCounty-Preparatory Band- (August-May) beginning band instrument instruction at two sites in Miami-Dade.-Popular Guitar Classes-(August-May) designed for teenagers to trigger their creativity, offered at twolocations in Miami-Dade County.-Theory/Piano Lab classes and Contemporary Jazz Ensemble (August-May) are unique opportunities inour city that offer students to experience creativity and harmony in teamwork to develop their musical skillsand expand their artistic horizons, will be accessible in six sites in Miami-Dade County.-Musicall Orchestras (August-May) Musicall three performing orchestras are Vivace (string students with1 or 2 years of instrumental experience, no vast ensemble experience), Intermezzo (intermediate group),and Advanced Youth Symphony which is an effort to reach underserved high school advanced musiciansand to give sense to their community service, they will be engaged as Ambassadors participating infundraisings, free Concerts at Community Centers and serving as mentors to younger students. The firsttwo orchestras will meet every Saturday while AYS will meet on Thursday’s afternoons during the schoolyear to rehearse at Boys and Girls Club of Miami (Kendal Campus). Vivace and Intermezzo Orchestrasmeet for 1 hour and a half; the Symphonic Orchestra meets for 2 hours. Approximately 60% of participatingstudents will receive scholarships.Musicall Chorus and Musicall Parent’s Chorus (August-May) Children's Chorus Rehearsals are offered atone location, meeting once a week for 1 hour. Parent’s Chorus is a unique and free experimental program;its purpose is to involve parents in the learning process of their children and to create awareness about thebenefits of music education.Musicall will also reach out the community through outreach concerts, and at our annual event calledGrowing Musicall Lives that includes workshops, and performances exposing the importance of musiceducation in children and teenagers with and without special needs.

Additionally to the regular school-year season, Musicall will continue offering its Summer Camp programserving around 200 students. The camp is divided into different tracks, based on student age and level.Tracks include Beginners 1 (5-8 years old), Beginners 2 (9-12 years old), Intermediate, Band, andAdvanced Strings. All levels will receive piano/music theory instruction. Beginning, Intermediate, and Bandstudents will have opportunities to participate in Art, P.E., and World Music. Beginners will also participatein chorus ensembles. Band Class and Advanced Strings Students will engage in the Contemporary JazzEnsemble, which will further widen their understanding of genres outside of classical music. Students onthe Advanced Track will also have opportunities in small chamber ensembles, and all-state preparation.Students will also participate in a visual arts class that will be designed to cater to their age level andability. All students will be part of a camp finale concert, as well as field trips.Partnerships & Collaborations - (Maximum characters 2000.)Describe any partnerships and/or collaborations with organizations directly related to the Specific CulturalProject (SCP) or General Programing (GPS). Discuss the responsibilities and benefits of the relationship andwhether any formal agreements are in place.Musicall has always been open to collaboration with other organizations, for our season 2019-2020 we willcontinue to join efforts with: Thomas Armour Youth Ballet, which will provide a remarkable experience to participants, being Music andDance directly related derives in numerous opportunities for both organizations to perform together. Orchestra Miami will provide participation to Musicall students in concerts and performances designed forchildren to learn about the different musical instruments and to understand music as a language. Boys and Girls Club will continue to host our community programs. Victory for Youth will provide hot food service for Musicall's Summer Programs. Miami Dade County Public Schools will wave charges for the use of school facilities, for our Afterschoolprograms at Frances S. Tucker Elementary School and at Miami Jackson High School. Miami Dade College Orchestra will continue to collaborate with our Advanced Youth Symphony duringRehearsals, Concerts, and Outreach Activities.Timeline - (Maximum characters 2000.)List timeline of activities during the grant period.TimelineMusicall Program Activities for the school year 2019-2020 timeline will be as follow:Boys and Girls Club of Miami-Dade (9475 N Kendall Dr, Miami, FL 33176)Saturdays sessions:-Four Hands will have two sessions due to its usual demand at 9:00 to 9:50 AM and at 11:00 to 11:50 AM,alternating the room with our Family Music Class which will be at 10:00 to 10:45 AM.-Popular Guitar Class will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

-Preparatory String Classes will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM for the first level and 10:30 to 11:30 AM forits second level.-Improvisation Class will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.-Preparatory Band from 9:30 to 10:30 AM (first level) and 10:30 to 11:30 (second level) whereasPreparatory Guitar Classes will be using it at 11:30 through 12:30.-Vivace Orchestra and Intermezzo Orchestra will be sharing the biggest room; the first one will befrom 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM while the second orchestra will rehearse from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.Parents Chorus will also practice Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.-Advanced Youth Symphony and Lyrical Singing Class will be Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PMwhile Music Theory/Piano Lab and Chorus will be Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PMRiverside Baptist Church (10775 SW 104 Street, Miami, FL 33176) Site activities:-Preparatory String Classes on Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 10:45 AM to11:45 AM.-Family Music Class will be on Thursdays at 10:00 followed by Four Hands Class at 11:00 AM-Popular Guitar Class will be presented Thursdays at 6:30 PM.Monthly workshops about the importance of music education will also be scheduled along withquarterly concerts; both activities will be free for the community.After School Programs for grades K to 5thGrade will be Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00PM at Frances S. Solo Artists: Include any positive social elements and community engagement anticipated from the project.The tremendous economic impact of Musicall on our community is not only evident at the present or shortterm parameters; Musicall provides long-term benefits for Miami-Dade County regarding guaranteeing thatsome of the community's most disadvantaged children will receive the skills necessary to succeed in theirlives. Music education is a powerful tool by which economically and socially marginalized persons can liftthemselves out of poverty and participate entirely as citizens.Since the school year 2017-2018, Musicall became part of the music education component for Envelopesof Safety, This is an initiative by Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools Alberto M. Carvalhoafter a shooting incident by Frances Tucker Elementary School, in which he exposed the need for creatingafterschool programs for students between the time they are released from schools and the end of theworking day. As part of this initiative and with the support of the Commissioner Xavier L. Suarez, Musicallopened an After-School Program at Frances Tucker Elementary School; the success of this programgenerated in a five-year contract with The Children’s Trust for Musicall to open 4 After School Programs,including the one at Frances Tucker.Musicall provides economic support to parents by offering affordable, high-quality Community musicprograms ( 350 for the school year) as well as financial need scholarships to those families that otherwisewill not have access to this kind of education. Musicall currently serves over 400 families, about 75% of ourstudents receive full or partial scholarships to participate in our programs. These scholarships are fundedthrough grants as well as private donations. Musicall also impacts our local economy by using our funds tohire the most prestigious local music educators and performers, to purchase instruments and materials,and a variety of other costs associated with our programs. Musicall currently employs more than 35musicians/educators who provide musical instruction during our school year and summer programs.All of the programs and events associated with this General Program Support are educational andoutreach based:-Family Music serve over 100 families each year; is designed for parents and their babies and toddlers totake together, it allows families to make music actively even at their homes.-Four Hands is a piano class designed for preschoolers and their parents, provides appropriate pianoinstruction for 4, 5 and 6 years old.-Preparatory classes introduce the art and fun of orchestral music-making to over 200 students each year.-Orchestras and Ensembles meet once a week to train students in ensemble playing and performance.-Musicall Children Chorus provides quality music and vocal education while children achieve the highestlevel of artistic excellence in choral performance.-Parents Chorus is a free class created with the purpose of involving family members in their child’smusical learning process and to engaging them with our programs and mission.-Summer Camp brings exceptionally affordable summer music training to over 250 students in DadeCounty, giving them the opportunity to develop their skills in an intensive Music Camp. The summer campalso provides a beautiful chance to over 30 Florida resident music teachers and performers to work duringthe summer.-Four After School Programs Provide academic support and serious music instruction to around 200students in Miami Dade County

-Growing Musicall Lives is the name of our workshops/concerts about the importance and benefits of musiceducation.
