WaveLinx WirelessIndustrial Fixture Mount SensorSystem ArchitectureThis diagram shows the main components of the WaveLinx Wireless Connected Lighting (WCL) system. The WCL system communicates using wireless mesh technologybased on the 802.15.4 standard. A POE LAN connection for each Wireless Area Controller (WAC) is required for power and data access to the building wireless network.System setup is achieved through a simple mobile application via wireless communication to the system.BACnet/IPPublic (REST) APITrellix CoreDesktop/Laptopwith web browser(hardware providedby user)Third Party system(hardware providedby others)Building LANWaveLinx Mobile Appused for systemsetup andpersonal controlBACnet Router1(hardware providedby others)Area or Room(15 1 construction area)PoEPowerTouchscreenArea or Room(15 1 construction area)Wireless AreaControllerKEYArea or Room(15 1 construction area)Wi-Fi SignalIEEE 802.15.4347V and 20ADimming RelayRoom BasedOccupancy SensorControlledReceptacleWireless Controlled Lighting ready aveLinx-IntegratedOutdoorNote:Trellix Core Pro shown in this illustration.Trellix Core hardware can be either Pro,Enterprise or Virtual.1BACnet Router only required ifTrellix Core and third party BACnet clientare on differenet subnets.(up to 150 per WAC)OverviewThe industrial sensors are an integral part of the WaveLinx Connected Lighting System and offer passive infrared (PIR) occupancy and a photocell for closed loop daylighting.WaveLinx industrial sensors offer installation heights up to 40 feet and have coverage patterns up to 5000 square feet (see sensor specifications - field of view). When part ofWaveLinx, the sensor operates on a wireless mesh network based on IEEE 802.15.4 standards. The sensors offer simple tool-less integration into WaveLinx industrial light fixtures equipped with the 4-pin Zhaga Book 18 compliant socket. Once installed, sensors receivepower from their co-located light fixture with no batteries to replace. The sensor in combination with the WaveLinx Mobile application allows you to gain considerable energysavings from occupancy and daylight sensing lighting control. The WaveLinx Mobile application allows you to map the sensor to any area or control zone, select occupancy orvacancy, occupied and unoccupied light levels and set the hold time.InstallationThe SWPD3 easily installs into WaveLinx-ready LED fixtures equipped with Zhaga Book 18 4-pin sockets. Sensor connection is enabled via the simply twist-lock connectionand provides immediate out-of-the-box functionality.RemovalFor wiring / installation details:InstallationPS503234EN page 3March 2020

ANSI A300 (Part 7), approved by industry consensus in 2006, contains many elements needed for an effective TVMP as required by this Standard. One key element is the “wire zone – border zone” concept. Supported by over 50 years of continuous research, wire zone – border zone is a proven method to manage vegetation on transmission rights-of-ways and is an industry accepted best practice .
