Refer to the serial number whenever you call yourdealer for information or service.Serial Number:UnpackingUnpack the units carefully and secure all parts so that none are misplaced. Examine theunits for possible damage. If any damage is noticed, notify your dealer immediately. If thesystem was shipped to you, notify the shipping company without delay. Heat - The unit should be locatedaway from heat sources such asradiators, heat registers, stoves, etc.8. Electric shock - Care should betaken so that objects do not fall andliquid is not spilled on the enclosure. If ametal object, such as a hairpin or aneedle, comes in contact with the insideof this unit, a dangerous electric shockmay result.13. Nonuse periods - The powercord should be disconnected when leftunused for a long period of time.14. Damage requiringservice - The unit should be servicedby a qualified Cardio Theater technicianwhen:A. The power cord or the plug has beendamaged;B. Objects have fallen on, or liquid hasbeen spilled into the unit;C. The unit has been exposed to rain;D. The unit does not appear to operatenormally or exhibits a marked change inperformance;E. Cardio Theater Instruction ManualSuggestions for Installation5General Information Group the audio components in a single location to minimize cabling in thecardiovascular room.If the audio components are stacked in a stereo cabinet, ensure there is adequateventilation.LCS-TX (4 channel) Place the LCS transmitter in a well-ventilated area with the front and back easilyaccessible.Place the transmitter antenna eight to twelve feet (8’-12’) from the floor to obtainthe best possible transmission range.Make sure the antenna is in the vertical position and within line of site to eachreceiver.The range of the LCS transmitter is a line of sight (300-foot diameter) from thetransmitter antenna. (i.e., If you’re within 150 ft. and can physically see theantenna, you should have good reception.)Place the transmitter and audio equipment in a central location for besttransmission coverage of the room.LCS1 (single channel) The LCS1 transmitter may be mounted next to an audio component or TV.Place the LCS1 transmitter in a well-ventilated area with the front and back easilyaccessible.Make sure the antenna is in the vertical position and within line of site to eachreceiver.The range of the LCS1 transmitter is a line of sight (300-foot diameter) from thetransmitter antenna.
