It contains two mainblock valves and an equalizing valve.For close or remote mounting, the M4TManifold is used in applications wheredirect coupling to orifice flanges is notdesired. On the instrument side, the M4Tbolts directly to the transmitter. On theprocess side, two 1/2-inch NPT or AGCOTube connections are provided for pipingor tubing into the flange taps.General Mounting TechniquesThe M4A mounts either directly at the orifice flange union or to a 2-inch pipestandusing the AGCO Mount kit.The M4T is designed for remote mountingon a 2-inch pipestand and using the AGCOMount kit.Fugitive emissions. To meet low fugitive emissions requirements, specialGraphite sealed bonnets are available. Fewer parts means fewer leak pointswhich mean fewer fugitive emissions. Manifold mounts directly to thepipestand. The AGCO Mount supports the transmitter and allows loopinstallation to be completed without thetransmitter. Instrument removal forservice or repair does not disturbinstallation. Teflon , GRAFOIL , or Graphitepacking adjusts easily. Decreasesdowntime and increases valve life. Integral hard back seat protectsagainst stem blowout and forms asecondary seal. Protective bonnet cap (Teflon packed only) increases valve life byprotecting against atmospheric contamination; reduces possibility of threadgalling by containment of stem lubricant.M4TM4AOur M4 Manifold is a three-valve unitdesigned for mounting on differentialpressure transmitters having 21/8-inch[54 mm] center-to-center connections. Features and Benefits Cost savings/less labor results whenunitizing the manifolding. It eliminatesnumerous parts used in conventionalmethods of ‘piping up.’ Results in costreduction of 20-30 percent. Stem backout prevention eliminatesstem blowout, or accidental removalwhile in operation. Bonnet-to-body seal is metal-to-metalin constant compression below thebonnet threads. This prevents bonnetthread process corrosion, eliminatestensile breakage of bonnet, and creates a reliable seal point. Roddability of soft seated valvesmeans impulse lines can be cleanedwithout using purge. Simplifies maintenance and helps ensure measurementaccuracy. Field-replaceable soft seats allowsreplacement of seat insert withoutremoving the valve from the line. Stem finish is burnished to a 16 RMSmirror finish in the packing area.Enables smooth stem operation andextended packing life.
