New Member Uniform ItemsWelcome to the Coast Guard Auxiliary. This is a shopping list to help you get started with the basicuniforms you will wear. Items in italics are the basic required items. The total cost for all Men’s basicuniform items is 159.50. The total cost for all Women’s basic uniform items is 175.80. New Member Uniform ItemsWhere to Order Uniform Items:The Uniform Distribution Center (UDC) is generally the least expensive place to order uniform items. It isthe main source for Active duty and Reserve Coast Guard personnel. It carries all the uniform items thatare common between the Coast Guard and the Auxiliary. However, it does not have very many Auxiliaryspecific items. Their web site is http://www.uscg.mil/hq/g-w/g-wp/udc/index.htm. The phone number is 1800-874-6841. Phone orders may be placed from 0800 to 1130 and 1230 to 1530 Monday - Thursday EST,and from 0800 to 1130 and 1230 to 1430 on Fridays, except holidays. You may use Mastercard, Visa,Discover, or American Express.The 7th District Materials Center is an on-line store that does carry all the Auxiliary specific items. Creditcards only. Its common uniform items are generally more expensive than the UDC. Shipping is included.Minimum order is 10. Its web site is http://cgaux7.org/d7store/default.htm.The 8th District Coastal Region Materials Center can be found on-line at http://www.uscgauxd8cr.org/materials.htm. This site contains a price list and order form. Items must be ordered via mail orfax and paid by check or credit card. Its prices are slightly more expensive than the 7th District MaterialsCenter.
