See exception below.REFUND POLICYThe Ontario Breeders Associationhas instituted the following refund policy.After closing date or Event limit reached and up to July 9, 2021,8:00 AM, Refunds for Show / Event(s) Cancellation shall be 80%.Between July 9 to July 13 8:00 AM, Refunds for Show/Event(s)Cancellation shall be 70%The remainder will be retained by the Club to cover costs.As of July 13, 2021, there shall be no REFUNDS.5

ZERO TOLERANCE – Any individual initiating bullying tactics at the OntarioBreeders Association Club Events will be asked to leave the Event groundspremises immediately and for the remainder of the event (no refunds). Areport will be filed with CKC and the Disciplinary Committee shall have theauthority to take such action as it deems fit.Definition of Bullying: Refers to a range of behaviors in which targetedindividuals are repeatedly, and over time, treated in a mean, insulting orabusive way. Bullying can be initiated deliberately or unconsciously. Theaffected person may feel upset, afraid, isolated, or humiliated. The bullysometimes acts alone and sometimes as part of a group of people.Examples include: insulting a person's skills, looks, or habits spreading false or malicious rumors, gossip, or innuendo berating/belittling an individual unwarranted criticizing or ridiculing, especially in the presence of others giving insulting nicknames engaging in practical jokes that humiliate undermining or deliberately impeding a person's work physical gesturing that intimidates, offends, degrades, or humiliates mocking a person's accent, abilities or mannerisms yelling or shouting which intimidates, coerces, or belittles7

ATTENTION ALL FOREIGN EXHIBITORSTo obtain an ERN simply do the following:Send a photocopy of the dog's registration certificate reflecting current ownership - witha written request for an ERN. Include full payment in the amount of 62.40. Accountsmay be paid with personal or business cheque,money order, Visa or Mastercard. ForNon-Members please note that if paying by cheque, the cheque must be certified. Nonresidents of Canada please note that discounted cheques or money orders will not beaccepted due to fluctuating currency rates. Provide us with your full return address.Faxed requests will be accepted. Please include your VISA/MasterCard number, expirydate cardholder's name and signature. An ERN must be obtained within 30 day ofobtaining points, awards or scores to avoid cancellation. Change or cancellation of any entry after closingtime is prohibited.The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry subject to CKC rules.Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of Judging. Dogs notrequired for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dogholding up a class. Owners/Agents are responsible to have their dogs presentwhen their classes are called to be judged.Exhibitors are requested to keep their grooming and crating areas clean and tidy.If space is at a premium, exhibitors must remove exercise pens if requested by theEvent Superintendent.It shall be the duty and obligation of the Event giving club to ensure that a judge isnot subject to indignities. The Conformation Event Committee shall promptly reportto the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shallhave the authority to such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicatingthat this has occurred.The Kars Dog Club will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs andexhibitors but will not be responsible for or assume liability in the event of accident,or other misfortunes to dogs, exhibitors or patronsThe Event Superintendent will be in complete charge of the Event, which will begoverned by CKC rules.9

NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEEThe Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canadawho is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned witha CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice toeither become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to complywithin 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be movedup to the next level. (For a Membership application, please go to www.ckc.ca under CKCServices and Forms On-Line).
