ENTRETIENLe granit est une pierre naturelle provenant de la croute terrestrecomposée principalement de quartz, micas et feldspath. Commeelle est naturelle, une variation de couleur et de grains peut êtreobservée, c’est pourquoi chaque tranche est unique. Selon lacouleur de la pierre, elle est plus ou moins poreuse. Pour la rendreimperméable, un scellant doit être appliqué tous les ans. À noterqu’il n’y a aucune garantie sur le granit régulier face aux altérations.Un savon doux et de l’eau suffisent pour nettoyer vos comptoirs,aucun produit chimique ne doit être appliqué sur vos comptoirs.Ces produits aux pH acides ou basiques vont s’attaquer au scellantappliqué sur votre granit, réduire considérablement sa résistanceaux taches et altérer son lustre et sa brillance.MAINTENANCEGranite is a natural stone derived from the terrestrial crustcomposed mainly of quartz, micas and feldspar. As it is natural, avariation of color and grains can be observed, which is why eachslice is unique. The colour of the stone determines it’s porosity,as such, to make it water resistant, a sealant must be appliedevery year. Note if alteration are made to the regular granite afterinstallation, there is no guarantee applicable. A mild soap andwater mixture is enough to clean your countertops, no chemicalsshould be applied to your countertops. Products with acidic andbasic pH will attack the sealant applied to your granite, greatlyreduces its stain resistance and alters its luster and shine.12
