New pure-bred puppy owners are encouraged to enter to explore competing in AKCEvents. One combined class, not divided by sex, will be offered for German Shepherd Dogs thatare four months and under six months on the day of the show. An AKC registration number or litternumber will be required.Dogs are required to be vaccinated (including rabies) in accordance wsith their veterinarian'sprotocol. AKC Rules Applying to Dog Dealing with Misconduct will be applicable to any person anddog entered at this competition. All applicable rules found in Rules Applying to Dog Shows willgovern the conduct of this competition unless these regulations state otherwise.Exhibitors should plan on opening the mouth of their puppy for the judges. Breed standarddisqualifications such as color, height, weight or dentition shall not be a point of consideration inthe judging process for this 4-6 month Puppy Special Attraction event.Professional Handlers are not allowed to exhibit in this competition. Professional handlers aredefined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers' organization,distributed rate cards or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay.Entry Fee: 15.00 (including AKC recording fee of 2.00 for each dog. ATTENTION PARTICIPANTS AND ATTENDEES: ADDITIONAL COVID-19 GUIDELINES*Food and beverages will be available at the Show site and tables with social distancing will beset up in the building where the food is served. Please maintain a safe distance from others.*No dryers will be allowed inside the building due to circulating possible contaminants.*Crating and grooming tables will be allowed inside with proper distancing observed.Please do not come to our Shows if you feel sick, or if you have been exposed to Covid-19 in thelast 14 days. Do not come if you are concerned about being exposed to the Corona Virus andplease do not enter if you are not willing to follow the rules.Masks are to be worn inside the building at all times, even when running your dog.Mask and face coverings will not be provided to participants by the event giving Club. You arerequired to bring your own, as well as, hand sanitizer, gloves and tissues. Include the animals youare responsible for in your social distancing practices.Please observe social distancing around ringside and space chairs accordingly. Even more thanusual, be considerate of how your movements around and near the ring could impact other peoplewho are trying to maintain social distancing.Consider only bringing people to the event that are necessary for you to travel to and participatein the event whom you have determined can comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations andorders on their own or at your direction. This will help reduce the number of people at the eventand make it easier to practice social distancing and could help limit potential liability for the actionsof people that you bring to an event. Wash your hands after handling animals, their food, wasteor supplies. Limit interaction with animals not under your control.Participants and attendees are required to comply with Federal, State and local laws, rules,regulations and orders required in the jurisdiction of the venue in which the event will take placeand should consider whether to also comply with suggested guidelines and best practices that areonly recommended. The GSDCA strongly recommends that participants practice social distancingand wear a mask or another face covering even if not required by Federal, State and local laws,rules, regulations and orders in the jurisdiction of the venue in which the event will take place orthe rules of the American Kennel Club.Participants and attendees should also be aware that the locations of their lodging and places theymay eat might be in local jurisdictions that are different from the venue for the event.Conduct that violates required Covid-19 related, Federal, State, local laws, rules, regulations andorders, or required AKC, or the rules of the event giving Club could result in referrals to a BenchShow, or other event, committee and/or the GSDCA ethics committee.6
