2/21/2017ATTENTION EXHIBITORSThese shows are governed by the American Kennel Club. Exhibitors should read the AKC agreement on the back side ofthe entry form in the premium list. Entries submitted must include both sides of the entry form.A Recording Fee and Event Fee will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or member club show. These feesare to be collected by the show-giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than oneclass in the show, the Fees are to be collected on the first entry.Telegraph, Telephone, and unsigned entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on official AKC Entry Forms, andphotocopies of Entry Forms without agreement and rules on the reverse side of the official AKC Entry Forms are notacceptable.ENTRY INFORMATION1. Fees must accompany entries. The GSDCSTL/or its superintendent assume no responsibility for incorrect orincomplete information given on the entry form by the owner or agent of the owner. The GSDCSTL and its superintendentassume no responsibility for the owner or the owner's agent entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible tocompete or for entering the same dog twice.2. Entry fees will NOT be refunded if a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, orbecause it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund of the entry fee for bitches in season; bitches entered forbreed competition are eligible to be shown. There is no refund for duplicate entries.3. Declination of entries. The GSDCSTL may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove anydog on account of disease, viciousness or other causes and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the kennelclubs or any official thereof.4. Effective for all shows held on or after April 30, 1980, dogs which according to their owners' records have completedthe requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for a show, but whose championships are unconfirmed,may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed competition, provided this transfer is made by theSuperintendent at least one half hour before the start of any regular conformation judging at the show.JUDGING1. Judging will start promptly. During the hours of judging, owners are to be on call and have their dogs ready to bring intothe judging ring promptly, in order that the judging will not be delayed. Dogs need only to be present for their judging.Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. DO NOT BRING ANY DOGS THAT ARE NOT ENTERED. There isno provision for unentered dogs at these shows.2. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have his dog ready to be shown and at the entrance of the judging ring whenthe steward calls for the class. Owners or agents of the dog alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in thejudging rings. There is no rule that requires the judge to wait for a late dog.3. All dogs must be on leash at all times while on the show premises, except when in an exercise pen.4. All prizes will be awarded in the ring. The German Shepherd Dog Club of St Louis reserves the right to substitute anytrophy with one of equal or greater value if conditions make it necessary.LOSS OR DAMAGE1. MANAGEMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, OR DEATH OF ANY DOG EXHIBITED,OR FOR THE POSSESSIONS OF ANY PARTICIPANT, WHETHER THE RESULT OF ACCIDENT OR ANY OTHERCAUSE. IT IS EXPRESSLY UNDERSTOOD THAT EVERY DOG AT THIS SHOW IS IN THE CARE AND CUSTODY &CONTROL OF HIS OWNER OR HANDLER DURING THE ENTIRE TIME THE DOG IS ON THE SHOW PREMISES.2.
