ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATIONBEFORE YOU GET STARTEDSpread cushioning flat to lay the TV on. This will help to prevent damage.1. Stand assemblya. Attach stands to base of TV, ensuring ‘L’ and ‘R’ markings on the TVand stands match.b. Insert two 20mm screws for each stand and use Phillips headscrewdriver (not supplied) to tighten.1b1a2. Remote control assemblya. Open the battery compartment cover on the back side.b. Insert two 1.5V AAA size batteries, making sure to match the polaritymarkings ( / -) of the batteries with the diagram insidethe compartment.c. Replace battery compartment cover.2a62b2c

3. Connect to antennaa. Connect an antenna cable (not supplied) via the ‘ANT’ input port atthe back of the TV.b. Ensure the antenna cable is also connected to a working antenna,either via an antenna wall socket in your home, or directly.Antennawall socket3b3aANTAntenna cable(not supplied)4. Turning TV onPlug the power cord into a suitable power outlet, then press thePOWER ( ) button on the remote control, making sure to aim it at thesensor at the front of the TV. Alternatively, you can press the powerbutton on the lower side of the back panel on the TV.TURNING TV OFFPress the POWER ( ) button on the remote control to enter standby mode.To power down the TV completely, unplug the power cord from the poweroutlet.Do not leave your set in standby mode for long periods of time. If you willnot use the TV for a long time, it is recommended to unplug the set fromboth the power outlet and aerial.7

FIRST TIME SETUPWhen turning the TV on for the first time, the Welcome screen willappear. Use the , and OK buttons to navigate the following options.BluetoothYour Android TV remote control has bluetooth capabilities. Follow theonscreen prompts to pair the remote with the TV. This will allow you touse voice commands with your remote via the Google Assistant button.LanguageSelect your menu language.Quickly set up with Android phoneIf you have an Android smartphone, you can easily transfer your phone’sWi-Fi network and Google account to your TV. If not, select ‘Skip’.Select Wi-Fi networkYour Android TV will automatically scan for wireless networks nearby.Ensure the TV is within range of your wireless modem or router, and haveyour password handy. Follow the prompts to input your password andconnect your TV to your selected network.If you’d prefer to connect an Ethernet cable to connect to the internet,simply insert the cable (not supplied) to the ‘LAN’ input port at the backof the TV (4a), and ensure that it is correctly connected to the internet.Google Account sign-inLinking your Google Account to your Android TV will allow you to installnew apps from the Play store, as well as receive recommendations,movies, and more from Google.Terms of ServiceThis page will allow you to read each of the Google Terms of Service,Privacy Policy, and Google Play Terms of Service in full, and to accept.LocationGrant permission for your Android TV to detect your location. You canadjust these permissions at any time from Settings.Help improve AndroidGrant permission for your Android TV to detect your location toautomatically send diagnostic information to Google.8

After confirming your settings (the default will be set forAustralia), the process will automatically begin. The number of searchedchannels will be displayed on the screen.When setup is complete, you will be able to access the Home page.9

If the play next queue is empty, itwill not be shown on the home page.11 Pinned channelsShow the program list of pinnedchannels. The order of this list can beadjusted by pressing from the channelicon and selecting the “ ” icon. Emptychannels will not be shown on the homepage.7 ClockTime and date settings can be adjusted 12 Customise channelsin the global settings.Add or remove pinned channels fromthe home page.10

SETTINGSGlobal settingsTo access the global settings menu (5a) , simply navigate to the ‘ ’ iconon the Home screen. Here you will find all of the adjustable options forAndroid TV’s interface, connectivity, and apps.Quick Menu button on yourIn DTV mode you can also press theremote control and use the / buttons to navigate to the Settingsoption.5aQuick MenuOptions for your TV (picture, aspect ratio, speakers, etc) can beaccessed by pressing the Quickuick Menuenu button on your remote control.Use / buttons to navigate through the submenus, and / buttons toaccess Channel and Recording/Time Shift options.Device preferencesTo open the device options submenu directly during live TV playback,press the Device preferences button on your remote control.11
