Be sure to point the remote control atthe remote control sensor on the TV.ꔛ To remove the batteries, perform the installationactions in reverse. Don’t mix old or used batterieswith new ones. Close the cover securely.ꔛ

How to register or deregisterHow to register the Magic RemoteTo use the Magic Remote, first pair itwith your TV.1 Put batteries into the Magic Remoteand turn the TV on.2 Point the Magic Remote at your TVand press the Wheel (OK) on theremote control.* If the TV fails to register the MagicRemote, try again after turning the TVoff and back on.How to deregister the MagicRemotePress the (BACK) and (Home)buttons at the same time, for fiveseconds, to unpair the Magic Remotewith your TV.* Pressing and holding the (EXIT toLIVE) button will let you cancel andre-register Magic Remote at once.

How to use*S hake the Magic Remote slightlyto the right and left or press(Home),,buttons tomake the pointer appear on thescreen.(In some TV models, the pointerwill appear when you turn theWheel button.)* I f the pointer has not been usedfor a certain period of time orMagic Remote is placed on aflat surface, then the pointer willdisappear.* I f the pointer is not respondingsmoothly, you can reset thepointer by moving it to the edgeof the screen. * The Magic Remote depletesbatteries faster than a normalremote due to the additionalfeatures.

8PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE* Use the remote control within the specified range (within 10 m).You may experience communication failures when using the deviceoutside the coverage area or if there are obstacles within thecoverage area.* You may experience communication failures depending on theaccessories.Devices such as a microwave oven and wireless LAN operate in thesame frequency band (2.4 GHz) as the Magic Remote. This maycause communication failures.* The Magic Remote may not work properly if a wireless router (AP) iswithin 1 meter of the TV. Your wireless router should be more than1 m away from the TV.* Do not disassemble or heat the battery.* Do not drop the battery. Avoid extreme shocks to the battery.* Inserting the battery in the wrong way may result in explosion.
