Your Role as A Juliette ParentGirl Scout Juliettes is a girl-led, family driven Girl Scout experience. Asa parent/guardian of a Juliette, you and your Girl Scout will be partners,shaping and sharing in the fun of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.Parent/guardians will: Register her as Girl Scout. Go to girlscoutsoc.org and click on“MyGS” to register/renew her membership, paying the annualmembership dues, which provides insurance coverage for her GirlScout activities. Consider becoming an adult Girl Scout! By registering yourself,you become a sister Girl Scout entitled to member benefits,including access to free training, activity accident insurance, andcommunications from Girl Scouts. She’ll see your commitment to hergrowth and before you know it, you’ll be growing too! Help her choose her passion and path. Decide when to meet andwhat Girl Scout activities, badges and awards she’d like to earn. Each month, Girl Scout Juliettes and their adult mentors areinvited to join our virtual gathering where Juliette Advisors and staff willprovide support, learn about GSOC and local Service Unit events, andbe connected to resources to support the Girl Scout Juliette experience.This is also a great opportunity to meet other Juliette families!Find Juliette Support Meetings on GSOC’s Event Calendar atgirlscoutsoc.org/events. After registering for a session, you will receivea Zoom link and password to participate virtually.Transitioning MembershipGirl Scout Juliettes are individually registered members of Girl Scouts.Many girls choose this membership option because they want toparticipate on their own schedule or because they are waiting for anew troop to form. If her troop has been disbanded or her schedule haschanged, becoming a Girl Scout Juliette can help her continue her ownpersonal leadership adventure!Girls can transition from Juliettes into a troop or vice versa at anytime within the membership year (October 1 – September 30).
