SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS1.EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT & STUDENT SERVICESa.Teacher Institute - (Ms. Peeples)BE IT RESOLVED: the East Orange Board of Education, upon the recommendation of theSuperintendent of Schools, approves the Teacher Learning Institute for Garvin Teachers toprovide support for teachers, administrators, and school change agents with professionaldevelopment, curriculum, and instructional methods at Mildred Barry Garvin School. Theinstitute will run from August 20, 2021 - August 31, 2021 (8 days), Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 1:30 pm, serving a minimum of 15 teachers at 35.70 per hour for the building at a cost notto exceed 18,000.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the East Orange Board of Education, upon the directionof the Superintendent of Schools, directs administration to obtain a purchase order and have itprovided to the vendor/consultant prior to receiving any goods or services from saidvendor/consultant. EOUMB staff will run the camp. Staff members consist of Director, Asst. Director, Poms,Instructor, Dance Instructor, and Percussion Instructor.
