Above-ground hydraulics, simpler building preparation, more reliable operation, eco-friendlyTelescoping jack system: the holeless solutionSchindler’s telescoping jack system mountsdirectly on the floor of a simple, self-containedpit, eliminating the need for drilling holes in theground and avoiding the potential for belowground leaks. For capacities of 2100 lb. and2500 lb. with side-opening doors, a single jackis mounted on the front of the car. For highercapacities and configurations with center-openingdoors, tandem jacks are mounted on either sideof the car. Vertical travel can be as high as 41feet with a single jack design or 50 feet with adual jack. (Additional pit depth or overhead maybe required.) As the elevator ascends, all stagesof the telescoping pistons extend simultaneously, producing a smooth and solid ride. Since thejack design has only minimal interface with thehoistway, it greatly simplifies installation in existingstructures, and reduces hoistway preparation innew buildings.Controller and pump unit: quiet dependability– To optimize overall system performance andhelp simplify maintenance, the Schindler 330Afeatures advanced Miconic HX microprocessorcontrols.– A sensor on the submersible power unitmonitors for recommended motor and oiltemperature, improving reliability.– The high-performance muffler reducesoperating noise.– Schindler Remote Monitoring (SRM) continuously monitors and records data to help pinpointproblems. It can automatically notify Schindler ifa service call is required.– ‘Soft-Start’ electronically controls the motorstarting current to reduce stress on the hydraulicdrive and seals. It helps avoid shutdowns dueto overheating, reduces seal maintenance andallows for quieter operation.Door operator: reliably safe– The advanced Schindler QKS-16 closed-loopfeedback door operator assures smooth, reliableand safe operation.– For easier adjustments, the door control boardis accessible from inside the car. There is no needfor the technician to work above the car or inthe machine room.– Schindler’s infrared light curtain detects people orobjects in the doorway without physical contact— to quickly and safely reopen the door.– Components are reliability-tested through morethan one million cycles.Installation specialists: factory trainedThe Schindler 330A hydraulic elevator systemis installed by certified specialists who havebeen factory trained to use the latest installationtechniques and tools.
