You will note that the differences between this car and anyother in the train are the length of the tongue where it attaches to the tractor, and the construction of the tongue. Photo 02ais a close up view of the tongue construction. The differences are required to allow for the turning radius of the tractor whilepulling the train. Note that the two carriage bolt heads visible are holding the passenger seat bracket to the side wall of thecar. This photo also shows how the passenger compartment is cut out of the barrel on the right side.

Note that when the passenger compartment is cut into thebarrel a tab is left remaining at the 12 o’clock position which is bent down and center drilled, creating a bolt hole into whichthe steering wheel is attached. Note how the steering wheel is braced to the front panel of the compartment AFTER carpetinghas been installed and sealed into place. Note that the entire passenger compartment is carpeted and there are no metalsurfaces exposed. Note that the entire opening into the passenger compartment which was created when the barrel was cutaway is protected by tubular insulation which has been cut long-wise and permanently sealed into place around the entireopening.
