Congratulations!Before using your Yonanas for the first timeplease follow these instructions:1. Remove all packing materials and literature.2. Wash chute assembly (plunger, chute andblade cover, blade cone, gasket and bottomcap) with warm, soapy water or in the toprack of a dishwasher. Wipe base clean witha damp cloth. NEVER immerse base in wateror any other liquid.3. Read and understand the User Manualbefore commencing any operations.IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDSWARNING! When using electrical appliances,basic safety precautions should always befollowed including the following: Read all instructions before using yourYonanas maker. Do not use Yonanas maker with a damagedcord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions,or is dropped or damaged in any manner.Return the unit to the nearest authorizedservice facility for examination, repair orelectrical or mechanical adjustment. To prevent against risk of electrical shock, donot submerge the base or the electrical cord inwater or any liquid. Turn power off and unplug the unit from thepower outlet when not in use, beforeassembling/disassembling parts and beforecleaning. Never unplug from the socket by pulling theelectrical cord. Only use your Yonanas maker on a flat surface. Do not place unit near electric burner or hot gas. Only use your Yonanas maker indoors. Do not let electrical cord hang over the edgeof work surface or touch any hot surfaces. Close supervision is necessary when anyappliance is used by or near children. Avoid contact with moving parts. Fingers, hair,clothes etc., must be kept away from movingparts during use. Using attachments or components notrecommended by Healthy Foods LLC or itsdistributors may cause hazards such as fire,electrical shock, and/or personal injury. Do not put your fingers or other objects intothe food opening while it is in operation. If foodbecomes lodged in opening, use food pusherwww.yonanas.comor another piece of fruit to push it down. Whenthis method is not possible turn the motor offand disassemble the unit to remove theremaining food. Never feed food by hand. Always use foodpusher.SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.USE OF MACHINE Ensure there are no foreign objects in theYonanas maker. Be certain chute assembly is securely locked inplace before operating appliance. Do not attempt to defeat the chute assemblyinterlock mechanism. Use only the plunger (included) to force foodinto the Yonanas maker. Never force food intothe blades with hands. Avoid bodily contact with blades. Avoid contact with moving parts. Fingers, hair,clothes etc. must be kept away from movingparts during use. Keep hands and utensils away from thespinning blade cone. Do not insert anything notmentioned in this User Manual into the chute. Using attachments or components notrecommended by Healthy Foods LLC or itsdistributors may cause hazards such as fire,electrical shock, and/or personal injury. Anysuch use will void warranty. This warranty doesnot cover any defect caused by an accident,misuse, abuse, improper installation oroperation, lack of reasonable care,unauthorized modification, loss of parts,tampering or attempted repair by a person notauthorized by the distributor. Do not lick or use your finger to remove excessYonanas from blade cone. Do not operate Yonanas maker continuouslyfor more than 2 (two) minutes. Allow unitto cool down for 1 (one) minute. Run unit for maximum of 2 minutes on/1 minute off for a maximum of 3 cycles.SAFETY OF OTHERS The unit is not to be used by children orpersons with reduced physical, mental orsensory capabilities. The unit is not to be used by people with alack of experience or knowledge unless theyhave been given supervision or instruction. Do not let children use Yonanas makerwithout adult supervision. ASSEMBLYASSEMBLE CHUTE1. Place bottom of gasket into the bottom cap.TOP 3-3/4”9.5 cmBOTTOM 4-1/4”10.8 cmBOTTOM 4-1/4”10.8 cmTOP 3-3/4”9.5 cmPLACE & LOCK CHUTETO BASE4. Place chute assembly on base.Interlocking mechanism in baseprevents motor from running whenchute assembly is not in place.NOTE: There is a top and bottom to thegasket. The top measures 3-3/4 inchesand the bottom measures 4-1/4 inches.The gasket fits snuggly in the bottom cap.2. Carefully set the blade cone on thegasket.Always insert gasketinto cap beforescrewing cap intothe blade cover.5. Rotate counterclockwise until chuteassembly clicks into the locked position.3. Screw bottom cap intothe chute and blade cover.ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS1. Power Switch2. Electrical CordDo not use an extension cord. DISASSEMBLYREMOVE CHUTE FROM BASEDISASSEMBLE CHUTE1. Rotate chute clockwise.3. Unscrew bottom capfrom blade cover(counter-clockwise).WARNING:Blades arevery sharp!Do not touch blades.4. Carefully remove blade cone.CAUTION:Blades are sharp.2. Remove chute assembly from base.5. Remove gasket by lifting.CAUTION: DO NOT attempt todisassemble, clean or serviceyour Yonanas maker whilepower switch is on and/or electricalcord is plugged into power source!CLEANINGDishwasher-safe Components. Wash allfive (5) components of chute assembly withsoap and warm water or in the top rack of adishwasher. Wipe base with damp cloth.4DO NOT submerge base, plug or cord inany liquid or allow liquid to enter motorhousing or electrical components.

FOOD PREPARATION Always – Use bananas that are “cheetah spotted” before freezing. “Cheetah spots area sign that the banana is over-ripe, and the more brown spots, the sweeter thebanana. Cheetah spotted bananas make the best Yonanas!” Always – Peel over-ripe bananas before freezing. Always – Freeze peeled over-ripe bananas and other frozen fruits for at least 24 hoursbefore using the Yonanas maker. Always – Make sure the chute is locked in place in the 12 o’clock position on the base. Always – Stir Yonanas for desired soft serve ice cream consistency.For best results, Yonanas should have the consistency of soft serve ice cream. Eachfruit and each freezer is different, but typically your fruit and other frozen ingredientsshould slightly thaw for 7-10 minutes prior to making Yonanas. You’ll quickly find the rightthawing time for every fruit.Try Yonanas with DOLE Frozen Fruits:DOLE supplies grocery stores with an assortment of frozen fruit packages featuringblackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, mangoes, pineapples, peaches, strawberriesand raspberries. For especially tasty Yonanas try DOLE frozen fruit combinationsincluding their Mixed Berries, Fruit Medley and the Tropical Fruit mix.Pieces of frozen chocolate may be added.When using berries or other frozen fruit, alternate between banana halves andadditional contents to ensure an even mixture.Note: Do not use Frozen Water/Ice Cubes. Ensure all pits are removed from fruit.Get Into the YoZone.Pick the right banana andthaw it perfectly!Why cheetah spotted bananas? Insert handful of frozen fruit(repeat steps 4 and 5)6. Stir in bowl to combine. Enjoy!Slowly press contents intoblade cone using plunger.Apply steady pressureon plunger to obtainproper consistency.

AFTER USE/WARRANTY/TROUBLESHOOTINGAFTER USETROUBLESHOOTINGTo clean your Yonanas maker, turn offthe power and unplug the cord. Followthe disassembly and cleaning proceduresfound on page 4. Make sure the parts arecompletely dried before reassembly. Storeyour Yonanas maker out of the reach ofchildren.The Yonanas maker stops during useand will not turn back on.The most likely reason this is happeningis that the safety feature has kickedin. The machine won’t work unless thechute assembly is locked in at the 12o’clock position. To do this, rotate thechute assembly counter-clockwise untilchute clicks into the locked position. Theinterlock mechanism in the base preventsmotor from turning on when chute is in notin place.WARRANTYHealthy Foods LLC, maker of Yonanasmachine, issues a 1-year limited warrantyfrom the date of purchase. The warrantysays this product will be free frommanufacturer’s defects in material andworkmanship. Healthy Foods LLC, at itssole discretion, will repair or replace thisproduct or any component of the productfound to be defective during the warrantyperiod. Replacement will be made with anew or refurbished product or component.If the Yonanas maker is misused, droppedor damaged at fault of user, the warrantycan be declared void. The Product shouldbe returned in original packaging alongwith proof of purchase and description ofmalfunction to the retailer.Any replacement of the electrical cordshould only be made by the manufacturer,its service agent or similarly qualifiedperson. This warranty does not cover anydefect caused by an accident, misuse,abuse, improper installation or operation,lack of reasonable care, unauthorizedmodification, loss of parts, tamperingor attempted repair by a person notauthorized by the distributor.www.yonanas.comThe Yonanas maker will not turn on.Check to see if the unit is plugged in and/or the outlet is working. If the machinestill doesn’t start, confirm that the chuteassembly is locked in at the 12 o’clockposition.The Yonanas maker emits aburning smell.There might be some residue on the motorfrom the manufacturing process duringthe products first uses. If odor continuesand/or smoke appears, turn off and unplugIMMEDIATELY.Nothing comes out of the machine whenyou put a banana in it.Make sure to use 2 frozen bananas topush through the machine. If using fruit,use one frozen banana then frozen fruit,alternating and finish with a frozenbanana. A quick stir in the bowl will insurethat all the ingredients are mixed together.7
