AHT Cooling Systems GmbH1 General specificationsBefore installing and using this cabinet for the first time, thelocally applicable regulations stipulated by trade law are tobe observed.ATTENTION: In all effective refrigeration, condensationwater is precipitated or the moisture held in the air isfrozen onto the refrigerated surfaces. This build-up ofice is automatically defrosted by the (-) AD cabinets inregular cycles.AHT cabinets are free from PCB, PCT, asbestos, formaldehyde, cadmium and substances that interfere withwetness. The defrost water which accumulates is led via adrainage channel out of the inside of the cabinet intothe machine space and evaporated. The refrigerant R404A (44% R125, 4% R134a, 52% R143a)is covered by the Kyoto Protocol and has a global warmingpotential (GWP) of 3784.The build-up of ice caused by any leaks in thedefrosting drainage channel does not affect thefunction of the cabinet.Airborne sound emissions of the units 70 dB(A)In the event of loud noises and/or strong vibrations in theunit, contact a service technician. The weights of the units are given in the datasheets. Theycan be obtained from AHT.The function of the cabinets is not affected by bulgeswhich may occur in operation. The built-in bars are required for the cabinet to functionand must not be removed. The bars are required todistance the food from the wall of the evaporator duringthe defrosting process. The design of the individual cabinet types may vary.2 Ratings plate and serial ona,Barcelona,Boston,BostonBerlinand Berlinandwith double-glazedinsulatingglass (withoutwithOslodouble-glazedinsulatingglass notinstalledbe installedat analtitudetube/ valve)at esThe specifications on the “rating plate" are to be observedfor installation and maintenance. This plate can be foundon the back of the cabinet.4 Unpacking and handlingThe serial number, cabinet type and refrigerant can befound either on the rating plate or on the sticker affixedinside on the plastic frame at the back.ATTENTION: To protect the cooling unit from damage, the cabinet must only be transported and stored in theoperating position. Non-observance results in the lossof the warranty.3 ApplicationAHT units are designed for storing pre-packaged, frozenfoods which have already been frozen to the appropriatetemperature and pre-packaged frozen ice cream or frozenice cream stored in suitable containers. The cabinets arenot suitable for freezing fresh products. Before the cabinet is unpacked and while it is beingunpacked, inspect visually to determine if there is anytransport damage. Please look for loose parts, dents, scratches, visible fluid losses, etc.Report any damage to AHT immediately. For the rest theAHT terms of business apply.ATTENTION: A use of the cabinet other than this or onewhich goes beyond this is considered as not asintended. Before disposing of the packaging material, please check itfor any parts of the cabinet which have come loose. The storage of any type of bottles is considered to be improper use for freezers. There is a danger of injury frombreakage. The Àawless condition of the refrigeration unitand its proper use must be monitored regularly by the instructed operating staff. To that effect, the units must bechecked to make sure that products that have been storedthere by third parties (improperly) are removed.5 Set upx x ADetail „A“x x BDetail „B“Minimum distances for the cabinetsDistance A 0mmDistance B 155mm / 100 mm14Set the cabinet up in a well-ventilated place and sothat it is level.Refrigerating devices discharge the heat they havetaken from the storage space into the ambient air. Therefore the air circulation around the cabinetsshould not be hindered.Observe minimum distance when assembling inblocks. (See diagram.)The areas in between must not be covered(Exception AHT cover or with AHT approval)In the case of individual cabinets keep a min.distance of 50 mm all round to neighbouringsurfaces (e.g.: walls).

AHT Cooling Systems GmbHx x x ATTENTION: Mains voltage and mains frequencymust match the ratings given on the cabinet’s ratingplate.Work on electrical systems may only be undertakenby qualified electricians. The relevant local safetyregulations must be observed.Only thin film advertising stickers can be used. Do notfix thick, insulating materials on the outer walls.Avoid draughts and greater heat absorption at theinstallation site. Do not place cabinets in front ofheaters and under air outlets.6.1Internal lightingDo not point spotlights into the cabinets. Avoid lightingwith light bulbs as much as possible. Fluorescent lightsgive off less heat!Lighting is already incorporated into the cabinets with AHTcabinets with an internal light. An additional light socketmust be available for each chest. No more than 8 internallights may be connected to one electrical circuit.Any heat radiation into the storage cabinet leads toincreased operating costs and can influence thecabinet’s performance.ATTENTION: If the mains cable or light Àexbecomes damaged it has to be replaced by AHT orAHT customer service. This information must be taken as a suggestion. Theelectrical supply company regulations and VDE regulationsfor the relevant region must be noted and observed.Electrical work must only be carried out by a qualifiedprofessional. When using light fixtures these may sometimes beconnected to each other using the sockets that are alreadyintegrated. In this case you will normally only need 1 - 2additional sockets for the lighting. With the LAK model no more than 12 light fittings can beconnected to 1 fuse, with the LAL model no more than 18light fittings and with the LA-A model no more than 8 lightfittings. No other consumer loads may be connected tothese sockets.x x ATTENTION: You must ensure that no AHT cabinetsare connected to the lighting circuit.x ATTENTION: Do not expose cabinet to direct sunlight. The cabinet must not be heated over 70 C (158 F).6 Connecting to the electrical supplyThe cabinet is a plug-in compact cabinet. The power cable (white) is 175 m. long. With cabinetswith an internal light the lighting cable (black or lightgrey, depending on the country) is 120 cm. long. Bothcables are located at the back right of the cabinet andare marked when they are delivered (mains cable lighting cable). The connection cable for the lighting is marked with asticker and is either black or grey (depending on thecountry). It is very sensible to mark the light socketsclearly to prevent them being confused with the cabinetconnector plug (light grey cable). Otherwise there is therisk that the cabinets will be switched off when thesupermarket lights are switched off. No more than2 cabinets should ever be connected to a circuit. With cabinets with additional flex for interior lighting only amaximum of 8 light flexes may be connected to a fuse.AHT recommends using a cable channel on the floor withsockets built into it or on top. The cable channel used mustnot be any higher than from the floor to the lower edge of therear ventilation grid of the cabinet. Any other fixtures orsuperstructures (e.g. shelves with longitudinal supportsabove) that obstruct the dissipation of heat between thecabinets must be avoided. Should fittings between thecabinets be necessary anyway, written approval must beobtained from AHT for the relevant design.Power supply detailsAn FI circuit breaker is provided to install AHT cabinets inthe supermarket when the electrical installation is done.No more than 2 cabinets must be connected to a safetydevice like this. One safety device for each cabinet ispreferable. 2 cabinets can be supplied for each safetydevice with a combination of a fuse and circuit breaker(LS/ FI circuit breaker).AHT strongly recommends useanLS/FILS/FI combinationusingofanforappliance (forUSAa CB/GFIcombination)withwitheachC characteristic,10Aratedcurrent and30mA releasecurrent, type G surgefor eachcabinet.Ccharacteristic,10 Aprotectionnominal currentand30 mA trippingShould thisnot beresistant“.acceptable, the followingcurrent,TypesuggestionG „surge currentmaximumspecificationsbe acceptable, used:Shouldthissuggestion mustnot bethe followingmaximum specifications must be used:FuseFuseA safety fuse with a16AAHTfuse appliances, with C characteristicFora circuit breaker with a 16 A (for USAmustprovided forCAHT15A) becharacteristicfusecabinets.is to be provided. No more than 2 cabinets are permitted on 1 fuse. However, in order to achieve the highest possibleoperational safety, we suggest that each chest has its ownfuse.FI circuit breakersIt is strongly recommended that you use FI circuitbreakers. Introduction Description logics (DLs) are a prominent family of logic-based formalisms for the representation of and reasoning about conceptual knowledge (Baader et al. 2003). In DLs, concepts are used to describe classes of individuals sharing common properties. For example, the following concept de-scribes the class of all parents with only happy children: Personu has-child.Personu has .
