Using your Squat Magic6Safety Information:Please read this instruction manual before youbegin assembly. It is important to keep theseinstructions for future reference. Assemble and operate the equipment on a levelsurface. Ensure the equipment is stable before use. Always ensure that the equipment has adequatespace on each side for emergency dismount. Aminimum of 0.6m. The safety level of the equipment can only bemaintained if it is regularly examined for wear andtear. Replace defective components immediately andkeep the equipment out of use until it is repaired. Use only the adjustment setting as describedin the instructions. Always use the correctadjustment plug/fixing. Always check that any plug/fixings are tight andsecure before use and after adjustment. Never leave any adjustment devices projectingfrom the equipment. Always consult your doctor before undertakingany exercise programme. Always wear suitable clothing and footwear e.g.tracksuit, shorts and training shoes. Remove all personal jewellery before exercising. Try to ensure your back is straight whileexercising, especially for long periods. Ensure you warm up well before using theequipment as this will help to reduce musclestrain. After eating, allow 1-2 hours before exercising asthis will help to prevent strain. Never overload the equipment: MAX USERWEIGHT 110Kgs. MAX USER HEIGHT 6ft 2in. Never use the equipment in any other manner otherthan the ways explained in these instructions. If you feel faint, stop exercising immediately. Injuries to health may result from incorrect form /technique or excessive training. Children should not be allowed on or around theequipment, especially when it is not in use andunsupervised. This appliance is not intended for use by personswith reduced physical, sensory or mentalcapabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,unless they have been given supervision orinstruction concerning the use of the applianceby a person responsible for their safety. This product is not suitable for therapeuticpurposes. This product is intended for home use only. CAUTION the instructions must be followedcarefully in the assembly, use and maintenanceof the equipment. Safety standards: This equipment meets therequirements ISO 20957-1.Care and maintenance: This equipment should not be stored outdoors, ina garage or an outbuilding. Keep the equipmentin a dry place with as little temperature variationas possible. We recommend placing a mat beneath theequipment to protect both the equipment andflooring. Ensure that all fixings are tight before use. Always replace damaged or worn componentswith original parts from the manufacturer. Bands may wear over time. Setting up your Squat MagicEverything you need to get started on your Squat Magic is in your pack.Follow these simple steps to build it:Step 1Remove all packaging and stand the product upright,checking it is locked into the base. The tube shouldbe twisted clockwise until the 3 small holes alignwith the arrow on the base. This should be checkedbefore every use.Step 2Select the assistance level you require and stretchthe bands, twist locking them in place so thearrows on the plug point upwards. Place caps in theremaining holes.Place plug in hole with cut-outsegment facing down.Twist plug clockwiseuntil segment faces left*.*Plug is in locked position when small triangle points upwards.7

For the standard bodyweight squat,use your bum to force the seat down, flexing at theknees and hips, keeping your back straight. Focus onkeeping your knees in line with your feet until theyare parallel with your bum (Figure 3), then stand backup, that’s 1 rep.As you become more familiar with the device, try outthe variants that follow.

Replacing the resistance bandsInevitably, resistance bands wear over time when subjected to repetitive strain. In the unlikely event of onesnapping, please follow these instructions to replace the bands. Please call our UK based customer serviceteam to order replacement bands.Ball bearingUnplug all bands bytwisting counter clockwiseuntil faces down.12Pull out broken bands andremove plugs from bands.Detach tube from baseby twisting counterclockwise and unlockinner end cap, squeezingit slightly to remove itfrom the tube (as shown).Attach existing plug toone end of new band,ensuring ball bearingis beneath plug.

Slide inner tube up andout until channel is visible,threading the new bandthrough the outer tube withplug on one end.Attach plug tofree endof band, securingband in place.Ensure bandsmatch up tochannel depth(over andunder).Lock inner endcap and re-attachtube to base.Plug in all bands at desiredlevel of asssistance.13
