1 本語 5Second-Year Japanese I (Winter ’21)Tentative SyllabusPrerequisite: Japanese 4 with a grade of C or aboveClasses will be conducted synchronously in Pacific Standard Time (PST). Ourcommunication will be primarily via email and announcements sent from GauchoSpace(GS). Please check your email daily so you will not miss any important information. Afterreading the course syllabus and schedule, sign the consent form on GS by 11pm onWednesday, 6th.This quarter will be entirely spent online. You will need an environment where you have:1. Computer and a web camera (if your computer does not have a camera)2. Good Internet access3. Quiet space with no interruption or the least interruption4. Zoom account (Zoom is downloadable from https://ucsb.zoom.us/ )5. Effective strategies for remote learning.
