A diffused lightbeam is emitted across the measuring cell toilluminate the oily water sample. A series of imagesare taken of the sample at a microscopic level. Theimages are then analysed via an advanced imageanalysis algorithm to distinguish oil particles and toextract essential information such as concentration,size, number and density. The data of oil in watercontent is displayed on the LCD screen.Oil concentrations, alarms and fault log are storedwithin the system to comply with the reportingrequirements of IMO resolution MEPC.107(49) andcan be downloaded onto a pc via LAN or USB forfurther analysis.The SMART PFM 107 offers a choice ofauto cleaning methods to ensure the accuracyis maintained at all times. The controlmodule will store these events for a period of threeyears exceeding MEPC requirements.It is a complete interlocked system ensuringsecurity of your discharges. This includes tamperproof electronic flow meters and secondarydiverter valve with position feedback installed afterthe standard IMO diverter valve.
