If you are just learning to pray theRosary this is a good way to begin:1. Hold the cross of your Rosary in your hand,make the Sign of the Cross, and pray “In thename of the Father, and of the Son and ofthe Holy Spirit. Amen.”2. If you have been taught to pray theApostles’ Creed, pray that also. The Creednames the things we believe as Catholics.Pray it slowly, so you can think about whatthe words mean.3. Move your fingers to the first large bead.The larger beads tell us that we are to praythe Our Father. That is the prayer that Jesustaught us.5. After these Hail Marys, pray The Glory Be.6. Now it is time to begin The Mysteries. Let’sbegin with the first Mystery. Ask someoneto tell you what happened or look it up inthe Bible.7. Now slowly pray 10 Hail Marys on the smallbeads and 1 Glory Be when you are done.That was great for the first time! Tomorrow trythe second Mystery. When you have thoughtabout all 5 Mysteries and prayed all 53 HailMarys, you will have completed the GloriousMysteries of the Rosary.4. Move your fingers to the next 3 smallbeads.
