Act No. 28 of 2005) which came into forceon 4th January 2006. The University became functionalsince July, 2006. The University has been established toadvance, disseminate learning and knowledge of law,legal process and to develop in the students a sense ofresponsibility to serve the society. Dr. Ram ManoharLohiya National Law University, which is fully fundedby the State Government of Uttar Pradesh, providesexcellent infrastructural facilities and academicenvironment to the students.
