This is required for your team's participation in the tournament andmust be turned in at team registration.REGISTRATION & HOST OR HOSTESSAll teams must register at Clinch River training facility located at 360 Donnie Dean Drive,Castlewood, VA between 4:00PM and 6:00PM. Bring the requirements (listed above) to thisregistration. Your team's host or hostess will meet you between 4:00PM and 6:00PM onJuly 22 00 at the Clinch River Training Facility. All teams must arrive no later than 6:00PM.Your host or hostess will assist with questions, restaurants, shopping and other necessities.Districts 1, 11 and 13 must also register at Clinch River League before 6:00PM.OPENING CEREMONIESThe Opening Ceremonies, Team introductions will be at the Clinch River Training facility at6:00PM located at 360 Donnie Dean Drive, Castlewood, VA 24224. EQUIPMENTEach team will furnish their own equipment. Clinch River Little League will help withequipment needs in cases of emergency. Sporting good stores are located near the motelsand team host will assist you if needed.EMERGENCY CALLSIf an emergency situation develops, Clinch River Little League will handle calls. 2021 Virginia StateJunior Baseball ToumamentTeam GuidelinesTeams are to arrive at the field 45 minutes prior to game time and report immediately to theTournament Director. A coin toss will decide home or visitors. The team traveling thegreatest distance will call and the winner of the toss will choose home or visitor. The hometeam will occupy the 1st base dugout and the visiting team will occupy the 3rd base dugout.Teams should be prepared to move into their appropriated dugouts 40 minutes prior togame time. A District 11 Official and a tournament umpire will inspect team equipment forregulation and safety.Each team will have 10 minutes for infield practice if time penmits. This is the TournamentDirector's decision. Only the manager, 2 coaches and a maximum of 14 players willallowed on the field or in the dugout once infield practice begins.Pregame ceremonies, players, managers, coaches and umpires will be announced and ifthe first game of the day, National Anthem. Little League Pledge will be presented beforeeach game.After the game is over, be sure pitchers are properly recorded on your affidavit. Affidavitswill be held by the Tournament Director.Before each team plays their first game, state tournament pins will be presented to eachplayer, manager and coach.
