A Message2017 BOARD OF DIRECTORSfrom theBoard Chair:Nolan O’Brien, Lawrence Livermore LabChamber CEO.FREE Hometown 4th ofCelebration at Lincoln ParkJulyCelebrate a Hometown Independence Dayin Tracy presented by the Tracy Chamberof Commerce, City of Tracy and TracyVolkswagen. The free 4th of July Tracy celebration is an all-dayevent from 6 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. with Hot Air Balloons and aPancake Breakfast at Lincoln Park hosted by the TracyBreakfast Lion’s Club.The festivities kick into high gear with the 4th of July Paradewhich starts at 10AM at 6th & Central Avenue and ends at LincolnPark. After the parade, Mayor Robert Rickman will welcome thepublic to the day-long event filled with family entertainment atLincoln Park. At 12:30PM, young girls from Kindergarten to 5thgrade will compete to become the newest Tracy Royalty duringthe 4th of July Pageant on the community stage.Some of the highlights for kids will include a carnival area withrides by Fun & Games Rentals. New this year will be MorganTerritory Brewing who will have their award winning craft beerat the event. Come out to witness the ice cream and hot wingeating contest in the afternoon or sign up the day of to participatein the eating contests! There will be no shortage of activities forthe entire family at this year’s Tracy 4th of July event! This year,activities will close at 3:00 p.m. at Lincoln Park due to extremeheat, and to prepare for the Fireworks show at the stadium. Gohome, cool off, and come back in the evening for more fun!When the sun goes down the anticipation will rise as the Tracysky will be lit up by the fireworks. At 7:00 p.m., the Tracy HighFootball Stadium will open to the public. The featuredentertainment inside the stadium will be Sparkles & Ravioli whowill be performing magic shows and playing games with thechildren. Seating in the Tracy High Stadium will be in thebleachers only. The public will not be allowed onto the field ortrack.
