The projects are collaborative andinterdisciplinary, as we often work with international universities and other UNC centers. As executive producer, producer, and story editor for these projects, I conceive the project, drive thecontent focus, guide the selection and development of stories in multiple mediums, help edit films, supervise a team of professional coaches, and supervise student teams. Some of these projectsrequire more than an academic year commitment and could be compared to producing a televisionshow, a documentary film, or a book.1
