Dr. John J. Feldmeier is currently Professor and Chairman of Radiation Oncology at the MedicalUniversity of Ohio, Toledo Ohio and a member of Toledo Radiation Oncology. He is the interimAssociate Director of the University’s Cancer Center. He is a Fellow of the American College ofRadiation Oncology. He is board certified in both Radiation Oncology and Hyperbaric Medicineand holds the distinction of being the only physician certified in both specialties. Dr. Feldmeier isthe Chairman of the Research Committee of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society(UHMS). He is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Society’s Hyperbaric Oxygen TherapyCommittee. He is the former President of the Midwest Chapter of the UHMS. He is thePresident-elect of the UHMS and a past recipient of the Society’s Paul Bert and Stover-LinkAwards. He is also a past recipient of the Edgar End Award from the Gulf Coast Chapter of theUHMS. He is serving as a co-chairman this year for the annual scientific meeting of the UHMS.He is also a member at large for the International Congress on Hyperbaric Medicine.
