The growth of the ABC sector in India will be much higherthan the estimate because of the Government focus of the smart cities setting up across thecountry. As focus sector for increasing the consumption of SS in India is ABC segment, it isplanned to conduct workshops in all the major cities to make all the stakeholders of ABCIndustry aware of the usage and applications of SS in their domain.There was an overwhelming response from various organisations and participation weremade by Architects, structural engineers, Government organizations, like ChennaiCorporation, CMDA, PWD, ICF, Southern Railway, CMRC, AAI etc. Educational & Researchinstitutes like, CSIR, IIT & School of Architecture & Planning. Stainless steel manufacturerslike Jindal Stainless, SAIL SSP, Outokumpu and end product fabricators like L&TConstruction, Salem Stainless Steel Suppliers Pvt Ltd, KONE elevators, Sreevatsa Stainless,Wittur Elevators were also present in this event.
