Epoxy-encapsulated coils777Application DescriptionTransformers providestepped-down voltages tomachine tool control devices, enabling control circuits tobe isolated from all powerand lighting circuits. Thisallows the use of groundedor ungrounded circuits thatare independent of the poweror lighting grounds; thus, greater safety is affordedthe operator. The controltransformer line is particularlyadaptable on applicationswhere compact constructionis demanded.Note: The MTG “open core-coildesign” has been superseded bythe epoxy-encapsulated core-coildesign MTE with no change todimensions or functionality.77Features, Benefitsand Functions 77 7Epoxy encapsulatedLaminations of high-qualitysilicon steel to minimizecore losses and optimizeperformanceCopper magnet wire forhigh-quality, efficientoperationSecondary fuse clipswhere applicableOptional primary fusingMoulded in terminals50/60 Hz operation130 C insulationsystem standardPerformance meets/exceeds requirementsof ANSI/NEMA ST-1Regulation exceedsANSI/NEMA requirementsfor all ratings25–1500 VA ratingsMoulded-in terminals formaximum durability777777V7-T7-4Volume 7—Power Control Products CA033001EN—January 2017 www.eatoncanada.caStandards and Certifications UL listedcUL listedRoHS compliantIndustry StandardsAll Eaton dry-type distributionand control transformers arebuilt and tested in accordancewith applicable NEMA, ANSIand IEEE Standards. With the “/” designation, a mid-pointalso becomes available in addition to the series or parallelconnection. As an example, a 120 x 240 winding can beconnected for either 120 (parallel) or 240 (series), but a120/240 winding can be connected for 120 (parallel),240 (series) or 240 with a 120 mid-point.777Finger-Safe Primary Fuse Block CoversFits two-pole primary fuse blocks on MTE designs Finger-Safe Primary Fuse Block Covers77FSKFBDescriptionCatalogue NumberPrimary fuse block coversFSKFB777Secondary Fuse Clip Cover7Secondary Fuse Clip Cover7DescriptionCatalogue NumberFits 500 VA and smaller modelsSFCS7Fits models greater than 500 VASFCL7777V7-T7-10Volume 7—Power Control Products CA033001EN—January 2017 www.eatoncanada.ca
