The new Landis Gyr E550 four quadrant load profilingmeters offer you substantially increased protectionagainst meter manipulation and data access byunauthorised persons. Improved installation support isintegrated into the meters. This new meter range has high immunity against strong magnetfields and records manipulation attempts and opening of themeter housing or terminal cover. The meters recognise and record not only all these events, butdifferentiate between fraud detection, network quality, powerquality and general events. The meter data can be read out from the display or the opticalinterface without power connection. To prevent unauthorised data access, the number ofcommunication attempts using the wrong password is limited. The installation support has been improved. The terminals havevisual separation of the individual phases. On the Landis Gyr E550 (ZMG400), the voltage inputs arerecognisable by the recessed upper section of the terminalentry. The display also shows whether voltage and phasecurrent are present immediately after connection. Communication with new E55C module portfolio and withexternal modems (PSTN, GSM, GPRS,etc) is well supportedthanks to the smart RS232 and DLMS-Cosem Protocol (shortand logical names).
