3/3/2021The minimum number of AHFA‐approved Owner‐ProvidedServices was reduced from 5 to 3.2021 APPLICATIONTHRESHOLD CHANGESMultifamily Housing Revenue Bond (MRB) applicants maysubmit, at the same time, an application for MRB and acompetitive application provided both are:1. Submitted during the Competitive Application Cycle.2. Have the same Responsible Owners, and3. The sites are located within ¼ mile of each other.The above‐referenced applications are exempt from the 2‐mile radius requirement. However, the exceptiondoes not apply to an application for MRB whose related competitive application is unsuccessful.13 The Disability/Homeless Election Form, the marketing andpreference plan, and executed Memorandum of Understandingfor the 5% set‐aside for tenants with disabilities or homelesspopulations will be submitted as reservation items instead of atthe time of application.2021 APPLICATIONSCORING CHANGES Points for rehabilitation (preservation) or replacement ofexisting or previously existing multifamily rental housing wereincreased from 1 to 2 points.
