ASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONS1. Place the Griddler Panini & SandwichPress on a clean, flat surface whereyou intend to cook.2. Plug the cord into a standardelectrical outlet.3. When the unit is plugged in, the redlight will be illuminated and the unitwill be pre-heating.aluminum and will become hot duringuse. This includes thecleaning tool provided.Once the Griddler Panini & SandwichPress is assembled properly you areready to begin cooking.1. Plug the cord into a standardelectrical outlet. The red light will beilluminated and the unit will be on.2. Once the red light switches to green,the unit has reached a preset temperature that is perfect for grilling panini.3. Place preassembled panini on thebottom grill plate and lower top coverusing the panini-style handle. Pleasenote that sandwiches should be ofeven thickness for perfect grillingresults.4. If desired, apply light pressure to thehandle.5. Grill panini for the desired amount oftime or until filling is warm.Never use metal utensils, as they willscratch the nonstick plates. Instead, useonly wooden or heatproof plastic utensils.Allow the Griddler Panini & SandwichPress to cool down completely (at least30 minutes) before cleaning.CLEANING AND CARECAUTION: BEFORE CLEANING THEAPPLIANCE, MAKE SURE IT HASCOOLED DOWN COMPLETELY.Unplug unit from electrical outlet andallow unit to cool. Use the cleaning/scraping tool to remove any leftover foodfrom the grilling plates. The cleaning toolcan be washed by hand or in thedishwasher.The housing base and cover can bewiped with a soft, dry cloth. For toughstains, dampen cloth. Never use abrasivecleaners or harsh pads.6. Remove panini using a heat-resistantplastic utensil or wooden spatula.STORAGE7. Unplug unit and wait for unit to coolfor at least 30 minutes beforecleaning.Always make sure the Griddler Panini &Sandwich Press is cool and dry beforestoring.Always exercise caution when handlingthe Griddler Panini & Sandwich Pressduring cooking.
