Push the lower part of the indoorunit up on the wall, Then move theindoor unit from side to side, upand down to check if it is hookedsecurely.CushioningmaterialPiping and wrapping1. Bundle the tubing, connectingcable, and drain hose with tapesecurely and evenly as shown in thesideward figure.2. Because the condensed water fromrear of the indoor unit is gatheredin ponding box and is piped out ofroom, do not put anything else inthe box.Indoor unitCableconnectionPondingboxPipe roomConnectivepipeDrain hoseWrappingbeltAttention!!1.2.3.4.Connect the indoor unit first, then the outdoor unit.Be careful not to let the drain hose slack. Both of the auxiliary piping should be heat insulated.Be sure that the drain hose is located at the lowest side of thebundle. Locating at the upper side may cause drain pan to overflowinside the unit.5. Never intercross nor intertwist the power wire with any other wiring.6. Run the drain hose sloped downward to drain out the condensedwater smoothly.11 Indoor unit installation

Outdoor unit installation1. Install the outdoor part of the uniton a flat surface to avoid excessnoise and vibration. A condenserpad is recommended.2. Direct the air vent toward an areawithout obstacles.3. Install the unit at the site whereit is exposed to as little wind aspossible, especially in areas whereit is frequently windy.4. If the installation site is exposed toheavy winds, such as in coastalareas, place the unit along thewidest part of the wall or useprotective plates.5. Be sure there is no obstacle whichblocks exhausting air, includingschrubs or bushes.Settlement of outdoor unit. Refrigerant piping connectionUnit comes with 25' tubing bundle. It is not recommended to cut. If too long, loop for excess.Note: Keep original bend so not kinking of the tube occurs.Flaring workMain cause for refrigerant leakage isdue to defect in the flaring work.Carry out correct flaring work usingthe following procedure:1. Cut the pipes and the cable.A) Use the piping kit accessory orpipes purchased locally.B) Measure the distance betweenthe indoor and the outdoor unit.C) Cut the pipes a little longer thanthe measured distance.D) Cut the cable 5ft longer than thepipe length.2. Burr removalA) Completely remove all burrs fromthe cut cross section of pipe/tube.B) Put the end of the copper tube/pipe in a downward directionas you remove burrs in order toavoid dropping burrs into thetubing.3. Put nut on.Remove flare nuts attached toindoor and outdoor unit, thenput them on pipe/tube havingcompleted burr removal. CautionAfter the confirmation of the above conditions, prepare the wiring as follows:1. Never fail to have an individual power circuit specifically for the airconditioner. As for the method of wiring, be guided by the circuit diagramposted on the inside of control cover.2. The screws which fasten the wiring in the casing of electrical fittings are liableto come loose from vibrations to which the unit is subjected during the courseof transportation. Check them and make sure that they are all tightly fastened.(If they are loose, it could cause burn-out of the wires.)3. Specification of power source.4. Confirm that electrical c

multi-split system is the right choice for your home. With split type air conditioners, indoor and outdoor units are required for each room. This can create problems when there is limited space, including unattractive cluttering of a home’s exterior. With a multi-split system, however, a single outdoor unit can power several indoor units.
