I have been reflecting on my time spentwith you and as a part of that reflection I reread my first visitor article to see what I saidto you before I actually joined you. This is an excerpt of what I wrote, “I have recentlyjoined you and over time I will be learning from each of you about how you function inthe body of Christ while finding my own place in your community.I look forward tolearning what God is calling us to do together in God’s mission in our community and inthe world.”I would have never guessed where the 20 months were going to take us, but I have tosay that I have been filled with hope and joy through this journey for Grace Lutheran, the community, and the whole Christian church. This worshipping community is engagedin so many ways. And I am honored to have had a chance to be have served withyou. Just to name a few, the youth ministry, community table, the consistent outreachto the local men shelter, and the collaboration with local, providing space for communitysupport organizations, churches in worship and music ministry. You will always be a partof who I am as I live out my calling as a pastor God’s people.Thank you for you support and care. God bless you all!
