The Junior Market Jackpot Showmanship is now moved to Sunday (25th) at 2:00 PM. The Jackpot Prospect Market Goat Show will immediately follow the Junior Market JackpotShowmanship. American Boer Goat Association (ABGA), Junior American Boer Goat Association (JABGA) & CommercialGoat Shows have added a third goat show this year; two on Saturday and one on Sunday. American Dairy Goat Association shows have added a third show; Jr. Doe Show on Saturday 2:00 p.m.,Buck Show on Saturday 7:00 p.m. and Senior Doe Show on Sunday following showmanship. The fees associated with the JABGA goat shows have been reduced to 10.00 per animal. The Pygmy Goat Show will have two WCGE shows this year. We will have only two educational seminars this year, more details to follow. WCGE is sponsoring one 500.00 scholarship this year, more details soon. COVID Waiver information on all entry forms must be signed or it will be returned for your signature. Only does and wethers are eligible to be shown in theShowmanship and Jackpot Shows.7. For security purposes, buildings will be locked ½ hour aftershows finish on Saturday night. Overweight animals can be shownbut will not be considered for Division Champion or GrandChampion.· When posing the animal, all four feet must remain on theground.· Premium payout is based on the jackpot system using 5/entryand the following percentages:1st - 35%, 2nd - 25%, 3rd -20%, 4th- 12%, 5th - 8%. All cash prizes must be picked up at theannouncers table before the end of the show.· Overall Grand Champion receives a buckle, rosette and 150.Overall Reserve Grand Champion receives rosette and 100. Jackpot Showmanship Contests— Youth exhibitors can test their skills in Jackpot Showmanship.The contests for market divisions are: Pre-Junior (8-9 years old);Junior (10-11); Intermediate (12-14); and Senior (15-18), age as ofDec. 31. Entry is 5/member. You can pre-enter on the registration form, or you can register at show time. Cash premiums will beawarded. Pee Wee & Novice showmanship classes are also offered.There are no entry fees for these classes.
