Message from our CEODavid HenshallI am pleased to share with you our 2020 Year in Reviewand Corporate Social Responsibility report. Facing theCOVID-19 pandemic meant an unprecedented year forus all, but I’m exceptionally proud of and humbled by thefact that Citrix and our employees were able to supportour communities and those most in need during such adifficult time. We recognized how fortunate we are asan organization and how privileged we are to be able tohelp others. As a result, our COVID-19 giving strategy sawan increase of an additional 5 million USD in corporategiving, with a focus on providing the basic needs of food,shelter, medical, and educational support to those inmarginalized positions in the communities in which welive and work. Simply GiveEmployee donationsIn 2020, Citrix matched employee donationsup to 4,000 USD per employee to qualifyingnonprofits. Through the Dollars for Doersprogram, employees who volunteered ontheir own time earned Cause Cards to donateto their favorite nonprofits.The COVID-19 pandemic offered us anopportunity to provide support to our globalnonprofits in an unprecedented way. Over4.5 million USD was allocated to 1,061global nonprofits.Most notably was our end-of-year donationof 1.4 million USD in lieu of hosting employeeholiday parties. Simply ServeEmployees receive 16 hours of paid volunteer time each year. With the COVID-19 pandemic, only virtual volunteering was offeredto employees in 2020. In true Citrix fashion, employees participated in a variety of innovative and inspiring virtual volunteeractivities. Citrites in Japan and Hong Kong built prosthetic hands for amputees in undeveloped countries through the Helping Handsprogram in partnership with Odyssey Teams. Major COVID-19 donationsOur nonprofitpartners werequick to extendtheir thanks andgratitude for oursupport. Take alook at what afew of themhad to say:Valley Medical Center 120,000Santa Clara — Supplied protective equipment for a countyhospital that actively supports vulnerable populations:children, the elderly, people with disabilities, those withchronic illnesses, and low-income earners.Inter-Faith Food Shuttle 160,000Raleigh — Purchased one month of critical food elements formarginalized communities. Mobile Markets (Meal production:frozen meals, food boxes, supplements bags) 2,900 individualsper week for 4 weeks; Restaurant Partnership Program provided800 family sized meals per week for 4 weeks.United Way of Broward County 240,000Fort Lauderdale — Provided meals for 2,000 adults for 2 weeks;enhanced the capacity of local food banks within the United Way’sProject Lifeline network by doubling the pounds of fresh, nutritiousfood delivered weekly. Where we have made progressWe continue to concentrate on buildingrelationships with organizations to accesspreviously untapped talent pipelines. Theyinclude: relationships with organizationsfocused on women in sales and technology,employees with disabilities, Black and AfricanAmerican technologists, and veterans.With the move to work from home during theCOVID-19 pandemic, the DI&B team focusedon creating learning opportunities for ouremployees through our partnerships with: Grace Hopper The National Society of BlackEngineers (NSBE) Lesbians Who Tech Disability:IN, Out & Equal The National Diversity Council Diversity Best Practices The Conference Board RISE India Afro TechWe also created special training opportunitiesfor our ERG Leaders with JBC Consulting tocreate two custom training opportunities,Corporate Social Responsibility at Citrix 2020 Year in Reviewone for ERG Leaders and another for ourERG Executive Sponsors (ELT membersand VP sponsors).We launched a quarterly series called“DaringDialogues” with discussions on Racial Equality,Privilege, and Allyship. Our Executive LeadershipTeam, our Black Professionals Network, andmembers of the Citrix Diversity and Inclusionteam had open and honest discussions onracism and bias. We’ve had strong participationgreater than or equal to our global employeemeetings. Our Black Professionals Networkhas increased the number of allies participatingby more than 100 people.We have continued our 2019 work to embedbias mitigation practices into our peopleprocesses. We have expanded the adoption ofour bias mitigation tools in talent acquisitionand we have implemented new tools in ourperformance management processes.In 2021, we are implementing Textio to removebiased language from all of our job postingsand communications with candidates.15

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)Our goal is to create a Culture of Belongingwhere we each feel as though we fit in,can take risks, and are empowered tocontribute as ourselves to drive the futureof work. ERGs cultivate a sense of belongingand inclusion at Citrix, through workforcedevelopment, workplace improvement, andmarketplace access. Each ERG supports anunderrepresented group of employees to build“safe spaces” for members, educate allies,and attract and retain diverse talent.These groups include Parents and Caregivers,Women, LGBTQ , Black, Latino, Asians, Veterans,Foster Family and Adoption, and Emerge, for thenext generation of Citrites developing theircareers. Our ERGs are not location specificbut have local chapters rolling up to an ELTChampion and an Executive Sponsor. We have10 ERGS with 29 Chapters across 9 offices in7 Countries. We now have 2,000 employeeswho are members of the Citrix ERGs, about30 percent of Citrites.Corporate Social Responsibility at Citrix 2020 Year in ReviewLeadership committeeOur Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DI&B)Executive Committee provides executivelevel support for sourcing and recruitingunderrepresented minorities by mitigatingbias in the hiring process, fostering inclusion,and supporting the Employee ResourceGroups (ERGs). Members are vice presidentswith cross-functional and cross-geographyrepresentation and a commitment to DI&B,including the executive sponsors from theCitrix ERG program. The council is charteredto guide strategy, sponsor change, anddrive accountability.16

Commitment to beinga best place to workAwardsFor 2020, we are proud to share that we were awarded a GreatPlace to Work Designation, we scored 100 percent on the HumanRights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index making us a Best Placeto Work for LGBTQ Equality for the 4th year in a row. Additionally,we were rated a Best Place to Work for Disability Equality for thesecond time with a 90 percent score on the Disability:IN DisabilityEquality Index. And we were just named to Working Mothermagazine’s third annual list of the Best Companies for Dads. Social justice and racial equityOn May 25, 2020, the U.S.was rocked by the murderof George Floyd.
