CURRICULUMThe LPD program offers a rigorous curriculum and applied approachto law and policy. The curriculum encompasses an interdisciplinarycourse of study. The program emphasizes the integration of qualitativeand quantitative social science methods, economics, law and policy,and political theory. Doctoral candidates specialize in a particulardomain that enables them to align their research and doctoral thesiswith their professional and intellectual interests.Weekend intensivesThese three-day intensives include core courses in law and policy,social science methods, and theory. Weekend intensives also includetime for individual and group meetings with faculty to advance thedoctoral thesis.
