Kit Assembly 99-7422Kit Preparation1. Attach the (2) radio housingbrackets to the radio housing usingthe supplied (2) carriage bolts andnuts. (Figure A)2. Secure the display into theassembled radio housing/bracketassembly using the factoryhardware. Kit Assembly 99-7422DIN radio provision with pocket1. Slide the DIN cage into the RadioHousing and secure by bending themetal locking outward.2. Slide the aftermarket radio into thecage until it snaps into place.3. Attach the radio housing trim platesupplied with the kit.Note: Display can be replacedwith Metra’s pocket, part number88-00-7422 sold separately.4. Locate the factory wiring harnessin the dash. Metra recommendsusing the proper mating adapterfrom Metra or AXXESS. Re-connectthe negative battery terminal andtest the unit for proper operation.5. Reassemble dash in reverse orderof disassembly.(Figure A)(Figure B)5

Kit Assembly 99-7422Double DIN radio provision1. Re-Secure the display* to thefactory brackets using the factoryhardware. (Figure A)2. Slide the Double DIN radio intothe factory brackets and securethe unit to the brackets using thescrews supplied with the radio.(Figure B)3. Place the double DIN trimplate over the face of theaftermarket radio.Note: Display can be replacedwith Metra’s pocket, part number88-00-7422 sold separately.4. Locate the factory wiring harnessin the dash. Metra recommendsusing the proper mating adapterfrom Metra or AXXESS.
