Get participants to taste the products - this will help them with their decision topurchase products from you Use the Herbalife product brochure or Personalised Nutrition Solutions DVD regularly, as supporttools, when presenting Herbalife products. Give participants the brochure/DVD to take home, readand share with others Ensure participants feel welcome and make sure your club is clean and visually appealing Always use official Herbalife material. Getting Started - Step by Step Summary3Select your club locationFor your Club, you might choose the locationas your home or somewhere commercial like anoffice - the key is to choose a busy area witheasy access. All of these locations may work foryou depending on your circumstances. You canuse other premises, provided that they have therequired equipment.4Notify Herbalife of your clubIt is important to tell us that you are establishinga Nutrition Club. This allows us to keep youinformed of any important developments that canoccur and what you may need to know about.As an Independent Distributor you are free to usethis or any other method (subject to our rules ofconduct) to carry out your business. We feel forthis type of business operation it is essential thatwe ask you to notify us.15If you haven’t already, find anestablished Nutrition Club and visit it!The most important thing is to see a Club in action– although this guide is aimed at helping youunderstand the principles, it is only by seeing withyour own eyes that you will really appreciate thesimplicity and values of the Clubs.If you can’t find a Nutrition Club in your area,please contact Distributor Relations and we willhelp you locate one near you.2You can, for example, talk to people in you ‘circleof influence’ e.g. neighbours, colleagues, friends,family and so on. Training RecommendationsIf you are thinking of opening your own Nutrition Club, then the following training recommendations andchecklist will help you start the process towards running a successful Nutrition Club. Remember, youhave to be a Herbalife Independent Distributor to open your Club.Training Recommendations Inform your Sponsor you want to open your own Club. Participate actively in monthly and weekly trainings focused on Nutrition Clubs, Success TrainingSeminars and Herbalife Opportunity Meetings. Attend other Club openings to be more prepared when you open your own Club. Visit other Nutrition Clubs to learn about their daily operations. Familiarise yourself and be prepared with the Nutrition Club Rules in this manual. Checklist for Nutrition Club OpeningsChecklistAfter you have read this checklist,this document for your notes. the corresponding boxes and use the pages at the end ofBefore your Club opening:Tell your neighbours you are opening a clubBe sure you have a blender, purified water, napkins and a good supply of Shakes, Instant Herbal Tea,Herbal Aloe Concentrate, Personalised Protein Powder etc.Make sure you branded invitation cards and send them out at least three days in advanceInvite your Sponsor to your Club opening to share their experience and to offer the support you needAsk your family, friends and neighbours for referrals to support your businessMake sure you Club location is clean and sanitaryOn the day of your Club opening:Wake up early to make sure everything is ready for a successful Club openingWear the button or other Herbalife accessories – remember, you are the brand!Do a final check on all the materials you needDo a final check of your Club location to make sure it is clean, especially the kitchen whereyou will be preparing the shakes and teasApply everything you have learned from your prior trainingWelcome all your guests with a big smile!Bringing people together for good nutrition11

Nutrition Club Rules

Nutrition Club RulesIntroductionNutrition Clubs, conducted at residential or non-residential locations are social gatherings, bringingtogether persons who become members wishing to focus on good nutrition and regular exercise inorder to achieve optimum health.These Nutrition Club Rules have the same force and effect as the full body of Herbalife’s Rules ofConduct and Distributor Policies (including the Supplemental Rules of Conduct). These Rules areeffective as of February 2012 they will supersede and replace all previously released documents whichcontain Nutrition Club Rules or informal operational guidance. Violations of any Rule or Distributor Policymay result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or termination of Distributorships, andDistributors may lose their ability to operate Nutrition Clubs.The Rules of Conduct and Distributor Policies (and the Supplemental Rules of Conduct) are included inthe International Business Pack (“IBP”) and may also be obtained online, at za.myherbalife.com or bycalling the local Distributor Services Department on 27-11-554-1000 option 2.Bringing people together for good nutrition13

Section 1: General Rules1A - Compliance with Herbalife’s RulesAny Distributor operating a Nutrition Club must be familiar and complywith the most recent versions of Herbalife’s Rules.1B - Corporate AuditsDistributors must cooperate with Herbalife when it conducts audits ofNutrition Club practices for compliance with Herbalife’s Rules. Failureto cooperate with an audit or to promptly make changes required byan auditor or audit report will result in disciplinary action, up to andincluding suspension or termination of Distributorships.name and contact information at the Club at all times. This Distributormust be present during all Club sessions, except for short-termabsences when attending Company sponsored meetings, and if absent,must assign a Distributor who they personally trained, to oversee Cluboperations in-person.If multiple Distributors share a common space to operate their NutritionClubs, the posted information of the responsible Distributors may bealternated accordingly.1I - Good Neighbour PolicyNutrition Club operators must be good and considerate neighbour,especially when operating out of their homes.1C - TrainingRule 10-C of Herbalife’s “Rules of Conduct and Distributor Policies”,provides as follows:Rule 10-C TrainingA Sponsor is responsible for properly training their personally sponsoredDistributors on the products and their usage, the Sales and MarketingPlan, the Rules of Conduct and other Company rules, regulations andguidelines for Distributors. They may seek assistance from their uplineSupervisor or TAB Team member, but the primary responsibility is theirown. No Sponsor may require payment from a personally sponsoredDistributor for training or training facilities unless they fully explain thatthe Distributor may choose whether or not they want to participatein such training and state in advance the cost for such training. If theDistributor declines to participate in such paid training, the Sponsor isobligated to provide basic training necessary to learni
