Also, through RAMP, Cyber Liability Insuranceis provided with an insurance limit of a minimum of 500,000 for each claim and 1,000,000 in the aggregate.A Template for Everything!SSA has compiled a number of detailed resources and templates for MemberOrganizations to use. Initiatives to foster inclusivity include:Liability InsuranceBecause no matter how careful you are, accidents may happen and organizations canbe sued by anyone who claims injury or damages resulting from your activities. Youmay not be liable, but you will need to be defended in court. A liability policy will payfor this defense as well as any costs awarded against you. Coverage includes generalliability insurance (up to 10,000,000) and directors and officers insurance (up to 5,000,000). Everyone’s Game – Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy: SSA has aresponsibility to take decisive action to acknowledge and address diversity gaps,and to create a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals to enjoy thesport of soccer. We know that we need to do more to accomplish that vision andthis strategy demonstrates that we are striving to achieve this goal.Accident InsuranceAccident insurance provides protection against losses resulting from bodily injurydue to accident for players, team personnel, and match officials during official games,practices and team/club travel throughout the entire season. Adaptive Soccer Resources and initiatives including Walking Soccer (an excitingprogram gaining popularity across the country!), a Guide to Adaptive Soccer, anda ‘Try-it’ kit of adaptive soccer equipment for Member Organization use. SAFE SPORT FOR ALLPartnership with Special Olympics Saskatchewan with teams participating in ourProvincial Championships. New Comer Strategies and member education opportunities. Women’s and Girls Strategies including a free access to the online course ‘KeepingGirls in the Game’, a Female Coach Mentorship Program, and grant opportunities. Indigenous Strategies including a partnership with the Federation of SovereignFirst Nations, and support to Team Saskatchewan Teams in the North AmericanIndigenous Game . Diverse Gender Member Strategies - SSA has progessive policies that reflect ourvalues relating to diverse gender athletes and female representation in our sport.In everything we do, safety is of utmost importance. SSA has a variety of policies andprocedures in place to ensure the safety of all of those participating in soccer. Thisincludes Code of Conduct, Competitions, Sanctioning, Risk Management, and FormalComplaints Policies.COVID 19With support from Canada Soccer, Sask Sport, and other provincial soccerassociations, SSA has assisted Member Organizations in the safe reintroduction ofsoccer. Furthermore, SSA has worked closely with leaders of the Government ofSaskatchewan’s Business Response team to seek clarity on items of importance to theSSA Membership. We offer continued support to our Membership to ensure they areready and confident and that they are informed of any changes related to COVID 19.Creating a Respectful Gametime EnvironmentIt is crucial to SSA that the game time environment is respectful for all, Referees,Players, Coaches, and Parents. All activity leaders are required to complete a free onlineRespect in Sport Course prior to beginning their leadership role. Respect in Sport forParents, and Respect and Sport in the Workplace are also platforms that are offered toMember Organizations, and are courses involved in the Club Licensing. AdditionallySSA has policies in place, and has a fair and effective process to handle formalcomplaints, and offers formal complaints training to our Member Organizations and 4support organizations through difficult situations when needed.AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXCEL WITH CANADA SOCCER’S CLUBLICENSINGSSA Member Organizations have the opportunity to participate in Canada Soccer’sClub Licesning program. The program is designed to guides soccer organizationsthroughout the country toward best principles for organizational development bothon and off the field. There are four classifications within the program that a MemberOrganization can work toward based on their vision and desire to develop theirorganization. Achieving Club Licensing standards is external recognition that yourorganization is committed to quality in all aspects of your operations.5

Lifelong benefit to your community through the increaseof health and well-being With approximately 235,000 to distribute each year, both small andlarge member organizations can benefit significantly. Building of social skills, including communication,teamwork, and leadership for participants.RETURN TO SOCCER STIMULUS STRATEGY Become a part of the global soccer community includingopportunities for participation at the local, regional,provincial, national and international levels. Approximately 700,000 in funding allotted in 2021 to supportMember Organizations during the COVID 19 PandemicAdditionally, Saskatchewan Soccer disributed close to 15,000 in grantdollars in 2019 and 30,000 to support athletes pursuing excellence.The below grants are available to assist individual coaches, referees,players to advance to a higher level and to achieve their goals withinsoccer. Volunteer opportunities for those in the communityas coaches, managers, board members, and more.
