As we approach our 2021-2022 Season we arefilled with hope that all of our performanceswill be able to be presented for your enjoyment. We eagerly await Ohio’s guidelines andmandates for large gatherings and assure youthat all compliances will be met. Even more,we are anxious for you to enjoy these performances in the newly renovated Stroede Center for the Arts. You will be comfortable in thenew theater seating and enjoy one of the most acoustically perfect surroundings you have ever heard. With the help of the YoungPeople’s Theatre Guild and Ned and Anne Clark, your musical andtheater experience will be greater than ever. In addition to the DCCC PerformanceSeries, the Stroede Center hosts the Young People’s Theatre Guild, FortDefiance Players, Andrew L. Tuttle Memorial Museum, music recitals, afilm series, and other special events.The Stroede Center has physically taken on dramatic changes since2007. Our first renovation created an intimate thrust-stage theaterseating over 200 people. It is fully equipped for audio-visual demands formeetings and programs. We are constantly updating the technology andequipment. Wonderful acoustics and comfortable seating make it idealfor conferences and meetings as well as performances. The first level isfully handicap-accessible. An easy access entrance to the Stroede Centeris located on Third Street.The downstairs renovation was completed in 2018 and is capable of beingused for meetings, dinners, receptions or smaller performances. Again,equipped with state-of-the-art technology, this area will seat up to 100people with a separate area for serving refreshments and a spaciouscatering kitchen. We are currently seeking grants for greater handicapaccessibility.If your family, group or organization has need of renting space for yourfunction, think first of the Stroede Center for the Arts.
