Selecting the correct air curtainRemember the following when selecting aircurtains: Ensure that the airflow reaches the floor atoptimal air velocity, the installation height (notthe height of the opening) is crucial for thechoice of air curtain. The air curtain must cover the entire width ofthe opening (or height for vertical units). Frico'sair curtains are available in various lengths.For wide or high openings several units can beinstalled alongside or on top of each other. The units must be installed as close to theopening as possible. Several of our air curtains can also be orderedwith heating which assists in heating thepremises when the door is closed. It is important to ensure that the pressuredifference between the premises and thesurroundings is not excessive. PA3500/4200 is specifically designedfor doorways in for example, large commercialinstallations or industrial and warehouse buildings.The air curtain has many intelligent and energysaving features which provide fully automaticprotection for the entrance, adaptable to each areaof use.AGS5500/AGR5500AGS/AGR is a powerful air curtain series intendedfor industrial doors but it can also be used forentryways in other large premises such as shoppingmalls. AGS5500 is surface mounted and AGR5500is intended for recessed mounting. The following models are available for specialorder:- with electrical heating- with alternative water connections- for vertical installationAGI4500/6000AGI is a robust air curtain intended for vertical orhorizontal installation in large doorways such aslogistic centres, loading bays and warehouses. Simple suspension using fixing nuts on theupper side for installation with threaded rod.Adjustable outlet grille makes it possible todirect the air for optimum air curtain effect.UF600UF600 creates a very effective air barrier whenair at high speed is pushed out through a narrowchannel situated in the floor inside the dooropening. An air barrier directed upwards from thefloor gives the best possible protection against coldair flowing into the premises.UF600 consists of a pillar with inlet hood, silencersand fans, as well as a floor channel with its slot atfloor level. The pillar is placed outside (or inside)the door on either side of the opening. The floorchannel is cast in the floor.
