January 17 – Second Sunday in Ordinary TimeOpening Hymns“Praise to the Lord”Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation.Come, all who hear: Now to his altar draw near, Joining in glad adoration!Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning,Shelt’ring you under his wings, and so gently sustaining.Have you not seen All that is needful has been Sent by his gracious ordaining?Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;Surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.Ponder anew What the Almighty can do As with his love he befriends you.Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him!Let the “Amen!” Sound from his people again, Gladly with praise we adore him!“Vamos Cantando al Senor”Estribillo: Vamos cantando al Señor: Él es nuestra alegría. EClosing Hymns“Here I Am, Lord”I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in dark and sinMy hand will save. I, who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright.Who will bear my light to them? Whom shall I send?Refrain: Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night.I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame. I will set a feast for them.My hand will save. Finest bread I will provide Till their hearts be satisfied.I will give my life to them. Whom shall I send? E
