User GuideProLabel 2-inch Label Printer

1Install softwareThe ProLabel Printer only workswith version 10.1.1 or later of theStamps.com software. Skip this stepif you are on a supported version.A. DownloadDownload the latest version fromwww.stamps.com/downloadB. InstallWhen download is complete, doubleclick the “Stamps.exe” icon or file tostart the installation, then follow theinstall instructions in the setup wizardto complete installation.C. Log inLog in using your usernameand password.2Setup printerA. Install printer driverInsert the included CD-ROM into yourcomputer. If installation does not beginautomatically, open Windows Explorer,and double-click the disk drive icon,and then double-click the setup wizardto start the installation. Follow the installinstructions in the setup wizard tocomplete installation.B. Connect printer to computer via USBPlug the AC adapter into a power outlet andthe printer. Turn on the printer by pushingthe Power button. Plug the USB cable into theprinter and your computer. The lights shouldchange to Green/Blue once the printer issynced to the network and ready to print.C. Connect printer to computervia Ethernet (Coming in Fall 2013 - for the latestsoftware driver, go to stamps.com/support)Follow the directions above for USB forpowering on the device. Once the deviceis turned on, first plug the ethernet to yourcomputer/internet connection and thenplug the other end into the printer. The lightsshould change to Green/Blue once the printeris synced to the network and ready to print.2

Load roll onto spoolOpen the printer, remove theadjustable label spool and pull apart.Put the NetStamps label roll on thespool and reassemble spool.4Print postageYou are now ready to print postage.A. Enter required postage informationIn the Stamps.com Software click theSTAMPS tab and set the desired postageoptions in POSTAGE DETAILS.B. Make surethe label strip falls between the twoadjustable label guides. The firstlabel should extend past the cutoffblade. Frequently asked questionsWhere can I download the driver?If you do not have the CD-ROM, download the driver software fromwww.stamps.com/support.Why is the Power Button flashing?If the Power Button is flashing by itself, the USB cable is not properlyconnected. Otherwise, make sure the NetStamps label roll has beenproperly loaded in the printer. You may have to press the LabelAdvance Button to load the Next label into position.What if I get the message “The currently selected label is notsupported by this printer.
