We strap ROG systemsonto a “shock table,” shock them with g forces,and then check to be sure that each part has heldtogether and no microscopic cracks anywhere.All ROG notebooks go through a series of durability tests to ensure toughness and reliability. They’re tested under extremeconditions and situations to ensure they’re always up to the high standards expected of ROG gear.HINGEROTATIONTESTVIBRATIONTESTWe rattle our systems with vibrations across all axesand check for any damage with a microscope. It’s nothard to understand why this is necessary; any time asystem is in transit, it’s experiencing vibrations, andmost of us take our laptops with us everywhere.TEMPERATURETESTWe toss ROG systems into humidity chamber andfreeze them for up to 24 hours.
