It is basedon a series of prescribed calculations set by theGovernment. The gender pay gap does not showdifferences in pay for comparable jobs. Therefore,even when pay is equal there may still be a genderpay gap.As expected, our 2019 figures remain similar to thosereported over the last two years and still close to theUK national figure of 17.3%. The composition of ourworkforce continues to remain relatively static, withlittle organic growth. Some M&A activity occurred inthe reporting period which can change the makeupof employees in a way which is outside of theCompany’s control. Our UK employees continue tohave low attrition rates and high tenure levels forboth females and males – demonstrating that AT&Tis a great place to work.
