ODOT Certified Profilers and OperatorsJune 7, 2021This document serves to identify the current ODOT certified profilers and profiler operators. ODOT reserves the right torevoke operator approval prior to certification expiration. Reasons for operator revocation may include but are notlimited to the following: Inability to check or recalibrate the longitudinal distance measurements of the equipment upon request;Inability to verify height sensor measurements with a simple block check on the equipment upon request;Inability to demonstrate a bounce test on the equipment upon request;Inability to generate an electronic copy of profiles collected in ProVAL software compatible format at thecompletion of a data collection run upon request;Inability to provide log sheets describing naming conventions and location descriptions of collected profiles;Failure to notify the ODOT project engineer at least 24 hours in advance of collecting acceptance data; orInability to follow Supplement 1110 or Supplement 1112 when submitting data to ODOT.ODOT reserves the right to revoke equipment approval prior to certification expiration. Reasons for equipmentrevocation may include but are not limited to the following (re-certification may take place after remedies/repairs): Longitudinal distance is not within 0.2% and equipment cannot be recalibrated to measure within tolerance;Height sensor(s) are not measuring within 0.01 inch;Equipment fails to pass a bounce test (IRI of 8 inches or less on a project site) and cannot pass after recalibrationof accelerometer(s) and/or height sensor(s);Repair or replacement of equipment components such as accelerometers, height sensors, other electroniccomponents including the equipment's computer;Equipment software upgrades/revisions.
