Maria MontessoriInternational SchoolBus/Carpool Service PolicyGorordo and Talamban CampusesS.Y. 2020-20211.Students are expected to speak in a quiet tone of voice and use acceptable language.2.Students are to act in a safe manner by keeping their hands and feet to themselves within the bus.3.Students are to be courteous and respectful towards the bus driver, attendant and fellow students.4.Only students or full-time employees of the school can be carried by prior arrangement. All students must carry theiridentity cards at all times.5.Dangerous and sharp objects, such as pocket knives, cannot be carried on the bus. Pencils, pens, toys, etc. should bekept inside school bags.6.Seats cannot be saved or reserved for friends travelling on the bus.7.The changing of clothes inside the bus is strictly prohibited.8.No pets are allowed at all times.9.Parents of pre-school or kindergarten students are requested to ensure someone meets the bus on arrival at home or atthe designated drop off points from school. Students not met will be taken back to the School to await someone whowill fetch them.10. Students will be dropped off only at the School and at their own home or respective drop off points.NO PROVISION CAN BE MADE FOR STUDENTS TAKING THEIR FRIENDS HOME AND WHONORMALLY TRAVEL ON ANOTHER BUS OR CAR.11. If your child will not be using the bus at any time for any reason, the driver (provider) and the school must be advisedin writing prior to the traveling taking place. Failure to inform that a child has permission to stay after school, the childwill be put on the bus and will be taken home as usual. If the child is sick, please also advise the busdriver/helper/provider and the school to avoid unnecessary delays.12. If a driver is continuously kept waiting by certain children, then a report will be made to the School. If the situationcontinues, parents may be asked by the School to make alternative arrangements. No refund will be given.13. Payments of the bus/service transportation must be made/collected by the MMIS cashier only.14. TERMINATION- If a parent wishes to terminate the use of a bus / service transportation, written notification must begiven to the School at least one (1) month prior to the termination date. refund will be given.15. Students may occasionally be removed from one bus to another to accommodate changes in pick-up and drop-off areas.16. Students residing on roads with dead-end or narrow lanes must walk to the pick-up points designated by theprovider/contractor.17. Please note that parents will NOT be permitted to ride on the school buses.18. The Contractor/ Provider shall be responsible for having a travel attendant or assistant in each bus.19.
