We have a full program plannedfor our SCAFRA seminars. We have some greateducational workshops planned along with some ofthe best fellowship and fun you can have at a Shrineseminar. Your host Temple is doing everything possible to make your visit to Mainea rewarding experience.We have some special events planned including a Lobster dinner on Friday nightin our new Temple in Bangor. We have some fun things to see and do that night. Wehope you will all enjoy.I would like to reiterate the importance for you to get the word out what SCAFRAcan do in helping a Shrine Center in fund-raising. We have two needs: the funding ofour Shrine Centers and Units and, most importantly to help our special Shrine Children.NEVER forget why we became Shriners!Arriving and Departing Anah By AirAnah is serviced by two airports, Portland is an alternate, but would require additionalground transporation to our city and of course Bangor International airport in the hostcity. We are not large by some standards but certainly we enjoy an efficient operationat our airport. The very hospitable Anah greeters will assist with “Complimentary”transportation and baggage handling to the Hotel.Our hotel is just 10 to 15 minute drive from the airport and the trip should be nomore than 15 to 20 minutes.Keep an eye out for our Anah Greeters at the Bangor airport.NOTE: Be sure to fill in your arrival time and airline so that we can have enoughtransportation available for each flightWe will get your departure time recorded at the registration desk and you and yourluggage will be transported and dropped off at the appropriate spot at the airport intime for your flight. Annual MeetingSaturday October 03, 2015Bangor, Maine”The Annual Meeting and Seminar is a little more than four weeks awayand this is your official notice of the Annual Meeting.Our Association has been fortunate, in our 29 year history, of attracting dedicated and futurefocused leaders. At the present time we do not have a potential candidate for 3rd Vice President,and we welcome member Temples to consider their voting delegate as a candidate for this importantand prestigious leadership role. We are open to a renewal of our leadership, any Member Templescan propose a candidate to the office of Third Vice President, or Secretary /Treasurer. The candidatemust have the written support of the elected Divan of their Temple and be the recorded VotingDelegate for that Temple. Candidates can be proposed as late as the annual meeting, as long asthey qualify as stated above.The 29th Annual Meeting will take place in a designated room at the host hotel at 1:30 PM onSaturday October 03rd. Registration will take place at 1:15 PM. To be reviewed at the meeting:Minutes of 2014 Annual Meeting, 2014 Financial Report, Committee Reports and other business asrequired. At this time we do not have a motion to deal with but will entertain motions as required.SCAFRA DUES 2015Dues for Shrine Centers are only 250.00 per year per Shrine Center, and any number ofdelegates can attend the annual seminar as well as access to organization services as requiredby an alternate fund raiser.Application is easy; clip the back page and send your dues now! Dues are payable as ofJanuary 1st of each year.Dues for the Associate Members are only 200.00 . Associate members must be approvedbefore membership is granted.
