, §5-11-10document.[Eff 5/5/08; comp MAR 12 2015J(Imp: HRS §456-15)HRS §§28-10. 3, 456-8)(Auth:§5-11-9 Record book; suspension for failure todeposit.(a) A notary public shall record all of thenotary public's transactions, as prescribed in chapter456, HRS.(b) The record book shall be bound with a softcover and shall not exceed eleven inches in height andsixteen and one-half inches in width when fullyopened.(c) The pages of the record book shall beconsecutively numbered.(d) The notary public shall always provide andprint legibly on the information page of each recordbook the notary public's name, business address,commission number, and commission expiration date, thebook number, and the beginning and ending dates of thenotarial acts recorded in that book.(e) The notary public shall always print legiblythe notary public's name on the top left corner andthe notary public's commission number on the top rightcorner of each set of pages of transactions in eachrecord book.(f) The notary public shall deposit the notarypublic's record book with the attorney general withinninety days of the end date of the notary public'scommission. Failure to comply with this requirement,after notice to the notary and opportunity to beheard, shall cause the notary's commission to besuspended until the attorney general receives thenotary record books for the prior commission term.
