[1] OVERVIEWINSTALLATION PACKAGESAltair Panopticon Designer – Desktop Edition or Panopticon Designer (Desktop)) and Altair PanopticonVisualization Server or Panopticon Visualization Server include several separate installation packages: Altair Panopticon Designer (Desktop) 32-bit Altair Panopticon Designer (Desktop) 64-bit Altair Panopticon Visualization ServerThe Panopticon Designer (Desktop) program can be used on its own without being connected to the PanopticonVisualization Server component. Panopticon Designer (Desktop) allows users to design and use new Panopticonworkbooks and dashboards and also publish to the Panopticon Visualization Server, for distributed web access.The Panopticon Visualization Server is the best way to make Panopticon workbooks and dashboards available tolarge numbers of users.Both components are licensed to provide data connectivity and visualization options.A typical installation scenario is to provide authors with copies of Panopticon Designer (Desktop). They develop newworkbooks and dashboards based on user requirements and then publish them to the Panopticon VisualizationServer. The install file consists of asingle executable: 32-bit: AltairPanopticonDesignerx86wInstaller.exe 64-bit: AltairPanopticonDesignerx64wInstaller.exeA separate MSI and setup.exe is available on request for integration into corporate delivery mechanisms.Steps:1.Run setup.exe as an administrator (right-click and Run as Administrator).The Setup Wizard displays:2.Click Next.The End-User License Agreement dialog displays:Panopticon 2021.0 Designer (Desktop) Installation and Troubleshooting Guide3
